Course Curriculum Overview :

For me I was really interested in application based mathematics that's why I chose engineering in the first place for placements perspective I went for IT but if you really do explore the curriculum it is a very interesting and creative field

Internships Opportunities :

I never did internships because of low self confidence but there were many opportunities few of them were Rising Phoenix with 5000 per month and the role was of python developer Next shell came and then Goldman sachs , browser stack came in for 70000 per month internship opportunity

Placement Experience :

If I am being honest the placement cell is really good over here in FE only they take a placement session on how to prepare for placements they solve if you have any doubts and before you enter final year they take some amount of fees for placement training which includes aptitude teaching, interview questions, resume building and all. After this from July end or august companies start to come in they come for specific roles but it is advisable to sit for all the companies to get experience

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

First year fees is a bit more than remaining years fees currently I'm in BE and this is my fees structure. 1. Year wise fees : ~ open - 1,48,014 ~ OBC - 83,969 ~ TFWS/ST/SBC/NT - 19,923 ~ J&K - 27,014 2. Fees Breakdown: ~ Tuiton Fees - 1,28,091(open), 64,046(obc) ~ Development fees - 16,909 ~ Exam fees - 2,418 ~ others - 596 3. Scholarships : ~ Minority - 50,000 ~ EBC - 59,000

Campus Life :

In January hysteria is held and everyone is invited to join Engineering, BMS, DOMS everyone participates a lot of talk shows and stand up comedy show happens then hysteria night with DJ. Other than that there are many other events like department day, departmental triads all this happens in the month of August and September. Talking about clubs there is a variety of clubs that you can explore like CSI, ACM, literally club, marathi club I never personally joined any of them but I think I should've because it gives you exposure and build confidence

Admission :

So I did apply to many other colleges like thadomal Shahani but because of the high cutoff I couldn't make it then I got admitted to atharva college in Malad but it was really far away from my home so i rejected then i got in MGM panvel and sinxe their placemwnts were okay okay so in the last round i finally got this college don bosco's placements were slightly better and also travelling was more convenient for me

Faculty :

The teacher faculty ratio is good. All faculties are really welcoming and helpful for personal and professional problems. Specially Nilesh Sir, Shiv sir and Prasad sir from IT department. Regarding exams there are two IA exams which is internal exams of 20 marks each and one end sem exam of 80 marks.

Students become eligible for placement from 7th sem but the training and stuff starts from 5th sem onwards. I don't really know much about the placements since I'm not planning on doing job after graduation and probably gonna do masters in the future.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So to be honest B.E course is a 4 years engineering course and it is not that easy and not too hard also. It needs a lot of focus, hardwork and practice to clear all exams. There are bunch of students who takes admission in B.E in first year but most of the students do back off in second year or some of them gets failed and gets an year drop. B.E course can be more efficient if we follow the teaching pattern like abroads. Less theory more practicals for students to understand properly.

From 7th and majorly form the 8th semester the students become eligible for the campus placement. Every year many companies visit our college like Goldman Sachs, Google, Infosys ,TCS , oracle, etc and offer a great amount of package to many students many students even get PPO. The highest package of this year was somewhere 61LPA and the average was 9 LPA. Somewhere around 82-83% students were placed this year and with good amount of packages My plan after getting the degree is pursuing a master's degree in abroad
