This college is one of ancient college of Assam. Which was open during British era almost. Apart from this college I had applied in one more college but in that college my name in merit list was in so low so I didn't went for that college for admission. Yes, I actually applied in Tezpur university in Bachelor's in English as it's one of my biggest dream to study in it. But my application got rejected , actually not rejected, when we had completed our 12th , there are as lot's of competition among students and the Mark's they obtain was much. So in Tezpur university the cutoff mark was approximately 93. As a result of which I've unable to get the admission. In our university, the admission process is simple. So I applied to many different colleges and universities but some of them were in remote region ,some weren't offering the honours courses of 3yr instead it was integrated etc.so time being I saw addmission for this college which was situated in the heart of the city Jorhat which is pretty close to my place and is very safe to travel and reach its is literally in middle of the hotspot if the town which allows it to accessible to every student.
