Remarks :

The college has excellent placement opportunities for students .there is 99percent placement every year .there is also good research facilities for student willing to conduct their research and do their PhDs .

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum consists of modern courses which is need for the 21st century.the curriculum is revised every 5years by the University.The curriculum helps is to stay up-to-date with the present technologies.

Placement Experience :

The college ranks first among placements in kerala.there is also a placement cell in the college which helps students to achieve skills required to crack the aptitude tests held by the placements companies

College Events :

The college celebrates techfest and arts fest every year .the college also conducts inter college events in the field of arts and sports.Students get an opportunity to show their talent during Bharatham which is the arts fest conducted

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees structure is same as there in every engineering colleges in kerala.the fess is 75000.it has to be paid at the start of every odd semester.there is also scholarship available for students attaing good marks

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college offers scholarship to financially poor students.the college also offers scholarship to students attaing good marks every semester exam.i have not taken any loan.scholarships are given every semester.

Campus Life :

The college has excellent labs which are equipped with modern equipment.the college also has a good football and cricket ground.there is also coaching facilities available for students in sports.the college also has gym facilities.

Hostel Facilities :

I have opted for hostel.the hostel facilities such as gym and WiFi.the mess also has good food.the hostel is directly controlled by the college. The hostel is situated in the campus itself.there is also womens hostel in the campus

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network is strong in the college.the alumni helps students to Kickstarter their ideas to startups .the alumni also consists of students who are owners of successful startups.Alumni also helps financially backward students

Faculty :

The faculty consists of very educated teacher and professors .they hold Mtech and PhD degree in their respective fields.Many research professors are also present in the college which helps students in their final year project.

Placement Experience:

Yes,Students will get placement from 7th semester.Many companies like Infosys,Wipro,TCS etc come for placement.Most of the companies hire in bulk from the college.Lowest CTC was 300k annually and highest CTC was 1000k annually.Almost 60 percentage students are got placed from here.Apart from placement many students prepare for all india exams like GATE,SSC JE etc

Very Good University to study

Placement Experience:

The students from S6 are eligible for placement. Almost all the companies are IT-related companies. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant and UST visit the campus every year and hire a huge number of students. The average package is 4LPA with the highest being at almost 30LPA. Almost 60% of staff are getting placed. The CGPU provide training for aptitude and technical tests Also, some students get offers from good universities for higher education

Best college for pursuing engineering degree

Placement Experience:

Campus placements starts generally from the seventh semester in the fourth year. Nehru institutions have a lot of hold with multinational companies so a lot of companies like TCS, BPL, Amazon are offering placements to students who have no back papers. The highest package offered by companies is 9lakhs per year and the average salary is 4000/month. Mainly placements are offered to computer science engineering students comparatively.

Seeing St. Thomas through my eyes

Placement Experience:

The only student from the 4th year was eligible for campus placements. Every year nearly 88% of students got placed. Our batch was also not an exception. Most jobs were taken up by cse stream followed by our stream. Companies visited included Infosys, Cognizant Technology Solutions,ITC Infotech, Odessa Technologies, and others. The highest package of 5 lakhs was offered by Infosys.Cts offered 4 lakhs highest. The average package offered to all was 3 lakhs per annum.ITC offered 3.6 lakhs per annum. My plan after getting a degree was to join the job of CTS. Then I had dreams of an MBA in the future if possible since it would attract higher packages in the future. Many friends of mine got double offers. There were offers from. Sonodyne, Vodafone also. Since I got a job already,I didn't seat for Vodafone. Vodafone also offered a handsome package of 4 lakhs per annum.ZTE operations also took few students from our college

Remarks:

CET is one of the top colleges in the country. Faculties are the best. The college has the best placement records too. The location of the college is good too. Various fests are conducted to boost the cultural and technical skills of the students. I opted this course because I liked the course and our college contain the best faculties too. And the lab has good facilities where you can learn a lot.

Government College Of Engineering Kannur for a first year student

Remarks:

Has a good infrastructure with lots of trees and plants. Natural lighting is available so no need of artificial lighting Doesn't have an elevator. So it would be a problem for people in wheel chair. Less parking facilities
