Even though it's a prominent university, they doesn't offer international moot championship opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Heirarchies are unquoted in law and that was the main reason I chose law. Narrative are busted and only lawyers have the power to do that. Hence, i chose law as I felt like I could change the narrative. Every semester from second year, we have not competitons and all the ICFAI students from Jaipur and Hyderabad and other places are invited. So, academics here are sorted as we get enough opportunities to get our balls rolling in the field of law.

Class Size : 57Course Fees : INR 130000 per year

Placement Experience :

Law students here gets a clear shot on placements as many law arbitration firms and litigation firms of North and Delhi especially are here for placements. Khaitan off late has been the prominent partner of the college along with corporates like Bajaj Finance and ICICI Lombard among others.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Dehradun ka known for colleges and ICFAI Dehradun is one of a prominent name and still charges much less than its peers. Fees is just 1 lakh and a 30 thousand and that too has to be paid in two parts. SC/ST, state students scholarships and all are available like students from Uttarakhand gets an automatic 15% discount.

Campus Life :

Well, the best that happened thus far is that National Asian Parliamentary Debate happened at our campus where over 200 teams participated. For cultural fest we have an annual event in UTSAV. The campus is laces with almost every modern facilities including sports club and an air-conditioned centralised library.

Admission :

I gave CLAT, so that I could get some elite colleges to choose from. NLUs were my first choice but I was not getting the top NLUs due to my score. Among private, ICFAI Dehradun ranks among the top. Thus, i chose this university. Admissions here are based on clat score and a rank of 10k to 20k is accepted by the university.

Faculty :

Our law faculty, is not something who still go and pray for the old system of law but all the new development that happens are taughted by them. Even the flaws of the system are pointed out by them and they honestly teaches us in a way that students from ICFAI Dehradun helps us in bringing the change.

College is good but THINK TWICE ABOUT HOSTEL.

Placement Experience:

Placement drive held in our department is for the students of final who applied for it on the college online portal. It was not for every students as everyone have their own plan for future. Not much companies visited for placements in our department. Placement is the thing that has to be improved

ICFAI University Dehradun is a personification!!

Placement Experience:

Major corporate would be Bajaj Capital and other NBFCs, last year EXIM bank also added as they took 14-15 students and majorly it's the law firms that helps us get jobs. It's a dream to work for top litigation firms like the Tatva Legal, Luthra and Luthra and others and ICFAI Dehradun provides that opportunity.

ICFAI Dehradun needs a lot more appreciation!!

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good here like in law generally getting placed is tough in top National Law Universities too. So, in that regards 50% students getting placed is more than decent, I would say. Total around 20 companies including law firms and corporate houses made their way at our campus last year and out of 120 students that applied for placements, 55 of them got the placements.

Reviewing my college experience

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in law our seniors has placed more than 75 percent in all over india and many law firms visit every year and selects the students and also many students cracked judiciary in different states

The placement is very low like nill the placement companies comes every year the no. Of placement companies is 3-4only student became eligible for campus placement at there last year for law students.the companies law firms is come to college for placement the highest offer is 80000 and lowest is 20000 per month.the percentage of placement in college is about 2-3percentage. My plan after I complete my degree is to work at someone other lawyer to get experience.
