Course Curriculum Overview :

Course circulum not in my college but in every other govt. College the curriculum is same so the curriculum is not up to date you have to know about some infamous technology which was abandoned bt us in the late 80's

Internships Opportunities :

For tech nerdys we have DIC lab. For those who are not in tech that much you can go to MDART lab which is a government funded lab. Or there's startup too like uniqus, parkyee and D&W TECH so you will have enough opportunity to do intership

Placement Experience :

Campus placement is offered and students placed from our college to big tech gaints like Flipkart, policy bazar, ZS, AMEX, Amazon, Credit etc so there's no issue of campus placement the one thing you have to do is to maintain your CGPA nothing else.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee issue is little bit concerning that every time we will have to give them a higher amount of fee. If you're a Punjab region student you can avail DR.BR Ambedkar scholarship and if you're a student from UP or Bihar government will pay your fee you don't have to give any single penny to the college. For other regions students they have SC/ST cell and there's no management quota

Campus Life :

Campus life is very happening we chill out with our girl friends at night. We can have access to sector 15 and have night food there. We can go to sukhna lake at night if we want to have some offbeat location.

Hostel Facilities :

You will get your hostel according to your jee rank and those students who can't able to to get hostel they will have there hostel till the end of first year or third semester every student will get hostel easily

Admission :

According to my rank this college ece is the best choice for me. But you should have choice this because this college is competing with some the reputed college like PEC,NIT KUK,NIT JALANDHAR etc in every aspect weather it is sports, placement, fest and any other thing

Faculty :

I can't generalized the whole faculty members but in my branch which is electronic and communication there's a mixture of both good facatly and bad facalty. One of the most loved facalty of our branch is PROF. Arvind Kumar who done his M.TECH from IIT KGP and PHD too from IIT KGP.

Interview Experience :

No you just have a decent rank in jee mains exam and you will end up in this college and there's no interview or any such thing but you have to give a physical verification round after you get the admission with all your documents

MBA students have 2 internships, one being chemical core internship, which is done after 3 year for 2 months which is not shifted to last semester of 4th year for 6 months. Apart from this, there is a 2 month internship for MBA part. Earlier it was 2 months but now it is, also 6 months in the last semester. MBA students gets their internships done, both paid and unpaid included. But for placements, that story is not so good.

The placements are just average. Companies come everyday or everyweek. Placement drive keeps running all time. Packages above 10 LPA have very very high competition. Courses have everything to crack a good package off campus. But students aren't studious they don't know anything they just blame the university

Here the average package is 8lpa. Students start to get placements in their 5th semester. Microsoft, accenture, infosis, ibm etc are the companies which often visits for placement. University also guides the student for higher studies such as MBA and mtech etc. It provides guidance through dcpd, a department of career planning in our college

Some students can get start getting internships offers from 5th semester and most of the students can get starts getting offers since the end og 6th semester. There almost more than 910+ companies that visit the campus with various offers which can be from new Startups to MNCs. Highest package offered was around 2 crore pa and the least being 5 lpa and average being 10-12 lpa. 70-80% students can get placed from the TPP(training and placement program) provided by the college by the end of 8th semester. I plan to get a job as a java developer at first proceed towards a carrier in cybersecurity.

For campus placement students can involve in 7th semester also many students got their PPOs in 6th semester as well. There are many reputed companies visited in PEC like Apple, Microsoft,Adobe,JP Morgan,Goldman Sachs,Amazon etc.Highest package this year was around 58LPA on-campus while average of all branch turns into around 14.33LPA.Overall more than 50 percent students got placed in all batch while around 80 percent placed in CSE due to recession. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree or during my 4th year.

The placements in our college are quite good for my branch ( CSE ) but the mechanical and civil placement rate is very low only a few students sit for placement and are placed. Approx 80% of students placed in CSE, 70% in ECE, and 40% and 20% in mechanical and civil respectively. My plan is to go for a master's whether in india or abroad along with a part-time job.
