Dislikes
- The campus is a bit small and it is located in outskirts of the city so there is not much exposure
- There are not many places in and around the campus where you can visit when you are bored
Course Curriculum Overview :
The Entire course is based on MAKAUT curriculum which is highly relevant for Higher exam standards and it is foreseen that Electronics and communication engineering will have a good career opportunity in upcoming years thats what influenced me to take it as a career option. The course and exam format is not too tough and the Institute prepares you for industrial and real world application through various workshops and proper library session which help to apply your understanding practically.
Placement Experience :
Placements of The Institute are quite decent and almost 80 percent student gets placed from the campus. The Highest package was 22 LPA for CSE and ECE and average package is nearly 4.5 LPA. Nearly Every year 40+ companies visit campus for placement drive and the main employers are TCS, Infosys and other tech giants. I am planning for getting a decent Job from Campus or outside the campus.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
You need to pay 600000 lakh for B. Tech in Electronics and communication engineering in 4 years. In 1st semester you have to pay 103000 which includes seat reservation fee and Kit fee and then 70500 For remaining 7 semesters
Campus Life :
There are quite many events going around the corner throughout the year which includes Basanta Utsab the cultural fest, tech fest, poster making competition and various club events as well which are organized by student body. Also there is an innovation club which is manged by students only from ECE department and it organises events and exhibition on national level. Sports events, quizzes, debates and other activities such as swachhta abhiyaan are organized nearly every month which makes you feel occupied. There is a central Library which consists nore than 15000 books. The classroom are well equipped with instruments and projects for a complete understanding of the concept.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels are fully furnished and spacious as well. There is enough space for two person . It has two Racks, two beds, table and chair for each person. One room is distributed among two students and it is cost efficient as well. The mess food is Good enough and it has a Acceptable variety of items. Food is provided 4 times a day and it is also cost efficient. Registration process for hostel is quite simple you just need two to three documents and pay an advance fee of 5000 for hostel booking and that is it.
Admission :
I chose AEC due to better infrastructure and the nearity of Institute from my home. I got offers from many colleges in west bengal but due to high fees and remoteness from my home i did not opt for those Institute. Also the admission process is very smooth if you have proper documents it will only take you at most 2 hours for all the paper work and other things. Also it accepts JEE Mains and WBJEE exam for all courses and have 45 percent marks criteria for 12th board.
Faculty :
The faculty members are highly qualified and helpful in nature. If facing any doubt or some problem you can directly approach them and they will make sure you have your doubts cleared. All the faculty members are very helpful especially for me it is the Maths Faculty who is Dr A upadhyay. There are two exams each semester one class test and one Theory and practical exam as end sem exam. Two assignments one Class assesment and project assesment.
