Course Curriculum Overview

In counsilling I got the department computer science and business system in Asansol engineering college. Faculty member behaviour is fabulous and kind.professor in our college teaches so well and I love the mode of teaching.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tcs, infosys like company come in our college for placement. Fees structure is not too good but ok ok. We have smart board in our classes.many of my batchmate take scholarships. College also provide internship.

Campus Life

My college life is going fantastic. If I compare my school life and college life I enjoy alot in colloge. I start playing volleyball in college too which I leave it in standard 7.if I talk about books available in library, foreign writers books also available.

Admission

For jee I prepare very hard during my 11th and 12th but unfortunately I got not as much percentile so that help me out to take me addmission in IIT like colleges but my coching sir addvice me to do counsilling and take addmission in college that i got . So in counsilling I got Asansol Engineering college, Asansol in department of computer science and business system. When reached college lobby to take addmission lobby was good ,faculty is so kind hearted and campus was good and now I'm happy.

Placement Experience:

The senario of placement in all of the private colleges of West Bengal are more or less the same. Majority of the students are placed in Service Based Companies like TCS, Wirpo, Infosys, HCL, Accenture, Cognizent, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, etc. These companies offer anywhere from 3.6 to 6 lpa packages. Only a handful of Product based companies come in these private colleges and cherry pick 2-3 student per college only. This is the reality of all the private colleges, not just our college. If you want to crack a high paying job, you will have to do it off campus. The students are eligible for internships from the 6th semester itself. The college does try to provide internship to students but only a few students end up getting the internships and most students need to find internships on their own. Some companies which came in 24-25 session which offered an internship and PPO are Amazon, SAP Labs, Accenture, etc. For a detailed placement stat, go to our college's website and look for training and placement stats. The college is honest in putting these stats. The stats are mostly reliable. The highest off campus placement in 24-25 session was by Snehadeep De, who secured a SDE role in Amazon with 47 lpa CTC. This was off campus so the college had no role to play here. The highest on campus placement was by two students in the company Juspay. They were offered the SDE role for 27 lpa CTC. The average placement of all the CS branches will be around 5-6 lpa. And approximately around 60-65% of the students get placed. This is the ground reality. And its the same in all of the WB private colleges. If you want to keep a backup option in case you don't want to get a 3.6 lpa job then start preparing for GATE, CAT or Civil Services from your second year. Its always preferred to have a backup option cause you can't trust a private college for providing you jobs.

Placement Experience:

The minimum placement opportunities of our college is good . If you are in good in aptitude, Group discussions and your CV and technical skills are strong then you can easily crack a 7-10lpa job from our college. Overall our college provides decent opportunities for our placements but you need to maintain certain GPA to sit on those placements

The average placement of my college 4-4.5 lpa. In CSE branch 70-75 % students gets oncampus placement.Some students go for offcampus placement, others go for GATE examination and government examinations.

TAKE A LOOK TO GCECT

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester we are eligible for the internship, also we can apply for both on campus and off campus placements. In our college some companies like Geotech, Infosys, Code Clouds, Unibit solutions visit every year. Average package is in the range of 3.5-5 Lakhs per annum and highest package is nearly 6-7Lpa. But post covid time our placement record decreased a bit. Nearly about 80-85% of CSE students get placed every year. Also I am currently appearing in interview of different companies for placement.

The placement of the college is average. During my time Cognizant and Infosys use to visit the campus and they hired many students. The ctc offered by the company was around Rs 3.5 lakhs per annum. Those who are unplaced need to apply off campus to other companies.

Walkthrough my journey Of AEC

I chose AEC due to better infrastructure and the nearity of Institute from my home. I got offers from many colleges in west bengal but due to high fees and remoteness from my home i did not opt for those Institute. Also the admission process is very smooth if you have proper documents it will only take you at most 2 hours for all the paper work and other things. To be eligible you must have more than 60 percent in your secondary as well as in senior secondary examination. To take admission you have to appear for the wbjee entrance exam and clear the cutoff for the college. The exam is not so tough the question can solved easily if you have studied NCERT.
