  • Placement cell of our college is pathetic.
  • Biasness between children is prevalent here

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is aligned with the ongoing trends and necessities in the market. All the courses cover a wide range of topics to make us capable to adapt the demands of the corporate world. I just want to suggest that if some courses related to IT and AI are also implemented in our course curriculum then it would be a cherry on a cake.

Internships Opportunities :

Multiple companies bring internships in various domains such as finance, digital marketing, sales, operations, HR, etc. And mostly the companies are unpaid and average stipend range between 8000-10000 per month.

Placement Experience :

IILM University Gurugram has a dedicated placement cell that provides internships and placement opportunities to students. Internships starts from 3rd trimester and placements start from 4th trimester itself. Processes are quite rigourous and competitive. Companies such as Deloitte, KPMG, Oxane partners, loreal, ICICI Bank, BlackRock come for hiring.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

When I took admission, the total course fees for 2 years MBA program was 10,80,000 for dual specialisation and around 9,80,000 for single specialisation. Scholarships were available based on CAT, MAT, CMAT scores and were adjusted in academic fees of first year.

Campus Life :

There are multiple clubs and extra curricular activities that keeps on going during the course. Multiple clubs such as marketing, finance, HR, operations, sports, cultural, etc. are there and conduct really engaging events for the students.

Admission :

I appeared for MAT and got 95 percentile. I chose IILM UNIVERSITY GURUGRAM over other options such as BML munjhal, thapar, and IBS because of its location, infrastructure, ROI, and experienced faculty. I rejected other offers because of this college. Here I appeared for interview round before my selection happened.

Faculty :

Our batch contains 280 students and over each group of 10 students, we have our mentors assigned. The faculty to student relationship is quite good and inductive as every faculty and even director is easily approachable. We have trimester system where we have to appear for exams 6 times in the span of 2 years and complete our 6 trimesters.

Placement Experience:

We have our summer internship process in September and once you are placed, you'll be required to do your internship in April-May-June of the next year. The avg SIP this year was 2,82,000 for 2 months which is basically 1,40,000 per month. The highest stipend stood at 2,00,000 per month and the lowest at 75,000 per month. All the students get placed. So if you are worried that you are not good enough, no need to worry, you'll also be placed at a very good stipend.

After 2 or 3 semester, students become eligible for Campus placements. Deloitte which was the dream company of mostly students of finance field has visited. Average package of our college is 5lpa and highest package is 12lpa as per students skills and company profiles. Minimum 60% is required to sit in a campus placement sessions. My plans after getting the degree is to get a job in a reputed company at finance department with good package of salary.
