Course Curriculum Overview
The program offers learning from a diverse set of courses ranging from Philosophy, Sociology, and Psychology to subjects such as Optimization, Statistics, and Computer Applications in Finance. So overall the course is very diverse and gives a lot of opportunities to choose your career from.
Internships Opportunities
After the 3rd year of the IPM program, all the students must mandatorily do a Business Internship for a period of 8 weeks. The Internship Committee at IIM Rohtak works to ensure that the students get these internships in the domain they prefer to get a practical exposure.
Placement Experience
The recent global recession has affected the current job market. However, the placement committee, along with the cooperation of other stakeholders, has managed to continue the legacy of securing a 100% placement for the entire batch. The details will be out soon.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course is a bit expensive compared to the other conventional courses, but the prospects of getting both your BBA and MBA degrees from an institute of national importance overpower the costs incurred. So overall, the course has a positive ROI.
Campus Life
For an undergrad student, the campus is filled with activities going around, with 4 different clubs covering all the major festivities and sports activities. The library is vast, with all sorts of books and journals, making it one of the largest libraries in the city.
Hostel Facilities
One of the best part about the college is the hostel life that a student experiences here. All the rooms are equipped with properly functioning Air Conditioners and attached washrooms. Besides, the students also get some kitchen area too in their rooms
Admission
The admission process includes an IPMAT exam, which is conducted across the nation once a year after the 12th Board Exams are over. The application form can be found on the IIM Rohtak Official Website. The candidate should work on solving the questions at a great pace to ace the exam.
Faculty
The batch is divided into two sections of 75 people each and all the students are taught by the same faculty. Since the course is very diverse, a major portion of the course is taught by guest faculties. However, the teachers are quite friendly and approachable.
Interview Experience
The admission involved a written test known as IPMAT. All those students who manage to clear the cutoffs have to face an interview before being admitted to the college. The preparation for these rounds can be done through taking some mock tests and intervies.
