Admission :
I applied to DU, Ashoka , and jindal as i wanted to stay in delhi-NCR region I got into Mata sundru for DU ,and i got into ashoka and jindal but i chose amity because amity has a better psychology departments and better cost- benefit analysis compared to other private universities . Du while good for the name , doesnt offer much career advancement oppurtunities as attemdance and classes dont really matter its all self study, not many presentations and internals . private unuversities offer a lot of networking oppurtunities . Admission in Amity is pretty easy You have to fill the application form , If you have scored 80% above in boards you have direct admission. if not , you have an interview round as well.
Faculty :
The Faculty is nice and experienced however teaching style depends from teacher to teacher . The marking structure also depends but class test is around 10 marks For attendance it ranges from 0-5 You NEED to mainting a 75% attendance to appear in exams Internals , assesmenfs range between :30-40 marks The faculty is easily accesible and helps out with doubts I like a lot of professors from psychology department i.e Mishita maam - psychology of happines Brian Gomes - Sociology Teacher Charu Mani- Communications Teacher Amity has a larger student body offering a broader rage of prospectives and experiences
