- Road conditions, hostel food, availability bus in the university campus
- Internet connection problem, water scarcity, electricity problem
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is very good. Studying this syllabus can make us crack competitive exams like NET and other mphil entrances. In our course curriculum we want to do internship each semester. and doing internship in mizoram is very hard. Especially we are clinical psychology students and language is a big barrier for us. So it will be better for the students to do internship during their sem break or during other period.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship availability is so less for us. And for us language is a big barrier. And all the hospitals are very far from the university and travelling in mizoram is very hard. We are going to old age home these kind of centres because of non availability of psychiatry wards.
Placement Experience :
For my course there is no placement. But for other courses they are providing placements. After my masters I'm planning to pursue mphil clinical psychology after that I will start working as a clinical psychologist in hospitals. But after my masters I can also work as a counseling psychologist. And if I crack Net I can also work as a teacher in colleges

Campus Life :
There is a festival called vrithli in every year, sports, hostel sports, and other departments small functions The range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library is vast and good The facilities and technological provisions within the classrooms are good. Teachers are taking class in smart board only
Hostel Facilities :
For UG students they are providing triple room and for PG students double room and for PhD students single room. Each room there will be a study table and shelf is available. For triple room 3 study table and 3 shelf. For double room 2 study table and 2 shelf. For single room 1 study table and 1 shelf. And using electronics like iron box,kettle and induction stove are permissible The food quality is bad. It is not tasty at all. They only give food two times a day. And most of the time there is no water in the hostel. There will be a Google form provided by the university and we want to register through that. And after someday there will be an allotment for hostel admission.
Admission :
I got admission through the competitive exam CUET PG. Also mizoram University have separate entrance exam. Through mizoram University entrance exam they will take 30 students and through CUET PG they only take 10 students. And I choose mizoram University because this was the only central university which was providing MSc Clinical psychology and I want to complete my masters in a central university. And because of that mizoram University was my first priority. And for me other central universities was a back up plan. Now in central university of Andhra Pradesh they are providing MSc Clinical psychology. They started it this year and the course is very expensive. For admission process in mizoram University the cutoff can't be predicted because it depends on the first rank student in the cuet pg entrance. CUET PG and mizoram University entrance are the accepted exams for admission.
Faculty :
The faculties are very good and helpful. They are available all the time. In my department I like Dr laxmi narayan rathore sir very much because his way of teaching and sincerity towards students is excellent I have one guest faculty she is a mizo the way she teaches is very bad. So I don't like her. There are internal and external exams in each semester it is not that much hard. Most of the students pass the exam
