Likes

It’s a girls college so you get comfortable around easy
The cafeteria is nice and airy , next to the auditorium
The campus is small so it’s easier to get from one place to the other

Dislikes

There is no air conditioning in the building
There is no parking space for the students
No designated room for extra circular activities like dance

So the course curriculum is extremely nice and helps in applications of the real world with the help of practicals that you'll need to do per semester The teaching methods are mainly the faculty using ppt and interactive sessions so that the students are able to understand the concepts clearly and easily

Year wise fees approx 21,000 The course was for 3 years , have to pay up to 1000 rupees while submitting your application on the du platform For other categories the fees were lesser depending on what criteria you apply There are different types of scholar ships that you can go for Like ECA defence

The clubs in du are overly involved with the students and ofcourse you make a lot of connections due to that The faculty that covers the team has to manage almost everything from team selection to competition Overall it's a good experience

Admission

For getting into Delhi university you have to give a cuet exam and according to the cutoffs you get allotted colleges and you choose colleges according to your preference I chose Daulat ram college mainly for the faculty that they have for psychology and because it is in north campus so you get to experience the college life you actually see in movie

Faculty

The facility at Daulat ram college for psychology is top notch, I loved each and every teacher we got per semester So the exams scheme is 25 percent internals 70 percent final exams with 5 percent for attendance The exams are medium level tough and tbh if you study well they are easy to go through The facilities are v friendly and you actually make a good bond with them

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good but there a backlog as they does not provide the selection for the programme courses in first year but they have good subjects in sac vac gt and all so its a good thing and the courses provided by the du are helpful for all.

Placement Experience:

You are eligible for placements from the 5th semester. Multiple companies visited including Deloitte,kpmg,icici bank,zomato etc. 300 offers were makde to the students The highest package last year was 12 lpa and average was 5.7 lpa and profies offered were financial analyst, business development associate, marketing, management trainee etc I think around 40 percent got placements I am planning to do mba after this degree

Academic Excellence and Dream Professors, Great Crowd

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Insights into DRC

After appearing for CUET UG, we make preferences of the desired college and on the basis on the CUET score, colleges are alloted. So, Daulat Ram College was my 7th preference and I was alloted this as per my category and cut off I cleaned. Although it was 7th preferred college, I have no regret of getting into it. Good internship opportunities

The admission process till last year in University of Delhi was on the basis of 12th std marks, but from this new session(2022-2023) there is an entrance test CUET. The eligibility for the same was the student must've cleared 12th board exams and the application form was available on NTA official site. People with reservations(SC, ST, OBC etc..) do get a lot of benefits like for them the marks are less for getting a good college as compared to non- reservation seats. Daulat Ram's Life

I gave Cuet examination for my course. The eligibity to pursue maths hons from delhi university was to give examination in mathematics and any other 3 subjects. To find the application form one should visit cuet.samarth.in, all the information regarding the dates, fees and syllabus are given there. I want to see some improvements in the admission process such as more hassel free process, as cuet was done for the first time this year so there were many things that did not went smoothly.
