The campus is pleasant and large in area which is a nice attribute to the university which gives the students a breathtaking environment and the roads are well constructed and footwalks are available, there are common areas like fields and activities
The faculty members and staffs are well educated and helpful for students to concentrate on their studies which is very assuring as a student and even the student body are of a good representative in matters concerned of the students which is pleases

Dislikes

Its not that i don't like it but the ratio of girls and boys are of 1/3 as though women are off majority i can't really understand it
The hectic schedule of the university sessions with versity to elections to sessionals semester exams to assignment all in one

Course Curriculum Overview :

2 semester each year with 2 sessional each along with assignment and viva for internal marks Though 6 month may seems a lot the hectic schedule of university itself doesn't give one enough time for all the curriculum and even with reasonable difficulty levels of exam one should know how to manage one's time

Internships Opportunities :

Well the internship opportunities are not actually given but have to self search it as 20 weeks of internship is a requirement for or course one can say that one have to seldom seek one's own opportunities.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The yearly fees is 32698 which is divided into 2 semesters as 15000 and 17698 which is same for all the students...although grants like 50%off are there from the government and other BPL schemes.... The hostel admission is off 3000 and yearly fee off 2900 with 2000 per month for mess fees and there is also mess scholarship of rupees 8000+ yearly for hostelers and mobility grant for mastes students.

Campus Life :

The life in the campus of dibrugarh university is not bad as people are interactive social circles seems very lively. There are various curriculum and drive moments NCC and NSS various opportunity for sports events gym indoors outdoor courts inter batch inter department and inter college matches also university sports week or so called versity week and many more.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel room facilities are consisting of bed ,table ,chair, rack, almera, switch board, and fans. The mess is mostly private with 2000 rps per month and the food is in quite literal not good but is eatable. The hostel admission is done in first come first basis with in preference to students from other states with 3000 of one time registration fees asnd 2900 of yearly admission and 2000 of security money excluding the mess.

Hostel Fee : INR 2900 per year

Admission :

I applied for shillong law college but failed my entrance there and as dibrugarh university is a state level university i got the admission directly when I passed my entrance. The procedure for admission is first the registration for entrance then entrance day with written and viva if passed then admission.

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is quite reasonable They are also easily approachable and helpful. The faculty members all usually likable by nature and knowledge . In a year there are 2 semester exams with 2 sessional in each along with assignment although the exams are not that hard only 70% of people pass

Interview Experience :

Ther was personal interview with subject and course relating question. The written exam being of aptitude for law general english logical analysis and general knowledge. I prepared from common entance books which was all it needed

For somebody who feels they are stuck in life, shoul opt for law as law will bring all the thrill and entertainment that they want. I am entertained by the kind of academics that we have. TLC in a nutshell

Course Curriculum Overview:

My choosing of this course stands on the basis to bring forth change in the society even if by a little margin. Theory alone could never prepare you for real life endeavours, therefore practical knowledge is very necessary and this college's curriculum encourages practical application well. The college premises could be improved a little and teaching methods could be improved to be more engaging and enjoyable for the students. There should be a balance between giving notes and lectures on topics of said subjects. There is ample time between exams if one studies by managing time better, the exams are moderate and question pattern is fairly understandable too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose to do BALLB as I was very much fascinated by this profession Advocacy is a Noble profession where justice is being delivered to all irrespective of their caste, color, race, or sex. All of My University Professors are highly qualified Holding Masters of Law, M.Phil., Ph.D., and PGD in Law. After Every six months, final semesters are conducted, and after every two and half months Sessional Exams are conducted. The Syllabus of Law is Vast as we have to go through various sections and sub-sections and also remember the case laws. a also go through several law journals, recent amendments, also through AIR(All India Record) of Cases.

University law college experience!

Placement Experience:

Placements are fine. And firms to visit but most passouts go for further studies or private litigation. Generally firms visit and hire students from 9th semester. I plan to go for private litigation after getting my degree too. But those looking for placements will find the placement cell very helpful.
