Likes

The infrastructure of the college if very good.
Faculty is qualified and knows how to teach
Multiple internship and placement opportunities.

Dislikes

The girls to boys ratio is very poor like 1:14.
The result timings are extremely long result is declared after next sem has completed

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum has been changed and made more branch oriented which serves good for students to teach them real world technologies. There are tech subject right from first semester. There are 5-6 units per subject.

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies which come with internship opportunities such as Microsoft Google sprinkler Adobe etc. Sprinkler offers the highest stipend of 2 lakh per month. The list for internships is quite long as 50-75% students get internships.

Placement Experience

The placements in this college is decent as it is a tier 1 university the avg package for cse and it goes around 24-25 lakhs per annum. The highest package goes around 84 lakhs per annum. There is a dedicated placement cell.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total course fees is around 10 lakhs which increases gradually per year. There are several scholarship programs provided by different organisations like Dell and some government agencies. The tution fee has a rebate of 75% for sc/st.

Campus Life

College life is very good in DTU as there are multiple cultural and tech societies which conduct numerous cultural and technical fests. Engifest and yuvaan being the most popular. There are many sports fests as well

Admission

The admission to DTU is based on jee mains rank the cutoff for general for cse branch in my year was 12900. I chose this college over other jac colleges because of its Placements, infrastructure, attendance lineancy and code culture

Faculty

The faculty are well experienced and qualified. As per the course structure, there are 8 semesters. There are two papers per semester namely mid term exams and end term exams. The marking scheme for lab including subjects is 20mte+ 40ete+ 15prs+ 15cws and for non lab subjects is 25mte+ 50ete+ 15cws.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

DTU -"More than Just a Tag"

Placement Experience:

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In each sem we have to give exams twice - mid terms and end terms. They are not much difficult the level is moderate. Teaching method is also good bit sometimes they are not able to complete the syllabus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.

I've only given JEE Mains and It is nearby although I've opted this from othe jac colleges because I'm getting Core Branch. DTU is best in Core branchs(esp EE ME ECE) I've also applied for IPU colleges in which I'm getting CSE branch But I prefer It DTU over any other college. Admision Process is easy You have to apply through Jac Delhi Website.
