Remarks :

Eligibility of Course is, You should be from Science Stream, otherwise, you would have decreased 2.5% in your merit while considering. You should have compulsory mathematics in your Intermediate. The application fee was 250 at that time. Reservation is available, SC OBC, and ST. some quotas are also there, Kashmiri Migrant, ECA, Sports Quota, and Army Ward Quota.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have chosen this course because I want to make a career in the IT Sector. I like programming since my school days, so I decided to go further in it. The faculty is good, and well-qualified. They will help you beyond the subjects. Student Ratio is 70 Male and 30 females out of 100 around. All teachers have qualified P.Hd and some are still pursuing while teaching. Teaching method varies topic to topic. Some things have to implement on Boards, some in labs, and some on Projector. Semesters exams completely take 1 month including practicals and theory exams. They are not much difficult to pass, but still, require regular study to score good grades.

Internships Opportunities :

The College have an active internship and placements cell that works in bringing the internship and placements for all the courses. It provides regular opportunities with time. Anyone with skills from any course can apply, can avail of the stipend and experience and boost his/her CV. Companies like Recruit CRM, Telford, DeShaw, and NUTki provide Internships for the roles such as Content Writing, Marketing, Finance Research, Graphic Design, Web Development, HR, and Business Intern.

Placement Experience :

After completing the IV Semester, students become eligible to participate in Campus Placements. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, and DeShaw visit campus every year and recruit students. The highest package offered for the Batch of 2023 is 21 LPA, and the Overall Average Package is around 4-5 LPA. But No. of Placements is less due to some factors, such as Companies being fewer the number of visits here, also the Majority of Students opt for a master's. CGPA should be more than 8, to sit in Placements. My Plan is to do a master's if I can't get the placements then Polish my skills to get a job in a reputed company in IT.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee for this Course is paid yearly, 50k per Year excluding the exam fee. You have to pay the exam fee separately on the examination portal. although you will get a refund after some time. If you come from a poor background, Don't worry Fee Concession is also there, you can get up to a 100% decrement on your fee according to your situation, they observe. You will be given an interview for it. Also, you can apply for NSP, and the numbers of scholarships are also there. But you should have an income certificate and your annual income should be less than 2-3 LPA. You will get internship opportunities along with your studies, you can apply there and earn some stipend with experience. At end of the course, Placement opportunities are there. Work hard for it, if You want to crack.

Campus Life :

The Computer Science Department of Hansraj college annually organizes a fest, named Cynosure. It consists of technical and nontechnical events, like Coding, Games, Content Writing, and many more. It is generally conducted in the month of October. In Library, all books are available along with some additional books, referred by the course. Hansraj has the best library and fully furnished library on North Campus. Sports and extracurricular activities are up to the mark that's what DU is famous for. A number of Societies are there, which regularly conduct their respective events every month. It's completely run by the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it is one such course that can never bore you. I have interest in analytical solving and problem solving. The curriculum is much more theory based and doesn't prepare the students much for real world or corporate world applications

Entrance Preview:

I got admission in this college by cut off list that University of Delhi releases. I got 85.6% in 12th by which i managed to pass the cut off marks. I opt for this college after I heard about it by some of my elders that the science faculty of this collage is really very good.

Admission:

After i saw the cut off list and observed that I am eligible to take admission in this college, I went to the college. Filled up the admission form and submitted to Jain sir after which my documents were verified and then i submitted my fees and that's how I got admitted in this college.
