Remarks :

Overall experience of college is good. It is peaceful and environment is really great. As it is a science college, students are generally more serious. Infrastructure is good.

Entrance Preview :

The admission is based on percentage of 12th class. Different colleges of DU release their cutoff lists and if you satisfy that you are admitted. There is no interview. My score was 93.7%. I opted for this college because it is a science college. Environment here is productive. It has great infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course structure is really good. It is a semester based system. Its main focus is on letting you prepare for research. There is a choice based credit system in which you have various generic electives and discipline based electives. Few courses are Mechanics, Electromagnetism, Waves, Optics, Modern Physics, Quantum Mechanics, Statistical Physics, Themal Physics. You can choose from Astronomy, Nuclear Physics, Atmospheric Physics, Nano Physics, Classical Dynamics, Mathematical physics and many more.

Internships Opportunities :

As such, the college does not provide internship but you can apply for internship in Delhi University.

Placement Experience :

For career in physics, the chances of placement just after B.Sc are not so high. You have to have an M.Sc. at least. So, you have to apply in different universities for M.Sc, or integrated Ph.D programs. Chances of selection are really up to you because college does not have a say in admission process.

College Events :

There are many events conducted by college as well as university. There are sport competitions, quiz, talent hunt, Fests, Debates etc. Anyone interested can try to participate in it if he/she is worthy. There is an ECA committee which looks over the extra curricular activities in college. There are Dance club, photography club, astronomy club, drama club, fashion society, physics society, music club, college teams for various sports which conduct activities throughout the year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is feasible. There is a college fee and examination fee. The overall fee taken by college is around Rs.10,000/- per year for physics students. Fees also depend on the courses you are going to take.It involves tuition fee, security money, club charges and other deposits.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarships are given to student who are financially weak. You may apply for it if you satisfy the eligibility criteria.

Hostel Facilities :

There is no hostel provided by college yet but there are PG available around college. Average rent is around Rs.6000 which involves food as well. College is connected well via public transport. One of the nearsest metro station in Dwarka Mor. You can take Taxi from there to the college.

Alumni/Alumna :

There is a alumni cell is the college. Many alumni are connected to college to guide the students about future.

Exam Structure :

It is a semester based system so final exam will be there in 6 months interval. There are internal assessments. There is lab for nearly 4 hours per week and theory classes 4 hours per week for a particular subject. Final exams are of 75 marks, Internals of 25 (comprising 5 marks for attendance) and practicals of 50 marks.

Admission :

Different colleges of Delhi University release their cutoff based on percentage of class 12th for admission. If you satisfy that you can take admission in the particular college. You have to fill an admission form which is out around May online. After the cutoff is released you have to report to particular college for admission which your documents like report cards and migration certificates. Admission process is easy. Administration is helpful.

Faculty :

Faculty is highly qualified. They are well informed of the advancements in their area of expertise. They take their jobs seriously and are really good at it. They are also involved in research projects to students can have good exposure. Almost all of them have Ph.D, and a few are going to pursue Ph.D in near future.

It includes biochemistry, botany, zoology and physics chemistrynot (not so much). So it gives you number of opportunity to persued different field as your career in future.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it is one such course that can never bore you. I have interest in analytical solving and problem solving. The curriculum is much more theory based and doesn't prepare the students much for real world or corporate world applications

Entrance Preview:

I got admission in this college by cut off list that University of Delhi releases. I got 85.6% in 12th by which i managed to pass the cut off marks. I opt for this college after I heard about it by some of my elders that the science faculty of this collage is really very good.

Admission:

After i saw the cut off list and observed that I am eligible to take admission in this college, I went to the college. Filled up the admission form and submitted to Jain sir after which my documents were verified and then i submitted my fees and that's how I got admitted in this college.
