- It is not compulsory to attend all the classes as there is no fine on attendance which helps us in attending only important lectures which saves a lot
- The infrastructure is excellent and the campus is very big with a great view and also the garden the ground and the trees add a lot to the beauty
Dislikes
- The campus is good but the maintenance is not very proper due to its size and some places are leftover due to it
- The college does not provide campus placements pr internships which is a major drawback for all the students
Course Curriculum Overview :
Mainly there are 7 subjects in B.com which change in each semester helping us in learning many things which diversified our knowledge and help us adapt to the changes in the studies in each semester. It prepares us for future in a great way helping us to adapt the changes and be ready for any challenges in future life. Mainly the attendance must be made compulsory and the tests must be made regular for all the students which will definately improve the results. The exams are held in March , May , October and December which are difficult.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1st year fees was 34000 2nd year fees was 35000 3rd year fees is 40000 Other category students get subsidy and have to pay very less as compared to us There are no scholarships and no placement or intership opportunities in the college
Campus Life :
The month of January is celebrated with the lohri festival then the month of February the annual day is celebrated and then in the month of August the fresher party is held and after that the youth festival is celebrated , also in between many small festivals are celebrated. The library is very huge offering many books which helps in great learning experience. The computer lab and chemistry lab are provided and well maintained. There are all kinds of sports activities and every sports is given equal importance and many opportunities are provided by the college for sports students. There are clubs like the Rotaract club , the red ribbon club , the eco scout club , etc.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel rooms are very big and fresh painted with as many beds , tables , chairs as needed . Meal quality is very good and taste is also good as compared to other hostels. The registration is very easy and only 1 form is to be filled online and after that some physical formalities are to be fulfilled after which we get the room desired and as per our need.
Admission :
I mainly applied for Panjab University and Delhi University. I got admitted to 2 colleges of Delhi University and 3 colleges of Panjab University but I chose this college due to the campus and infrastructure also the vibe was very fun loving and fresh which attracted me to the college, also I wished to go to ggdsd and dav college but didn't get the admission due to very high competition and cut off. The admission process for my college is very easy if you have scored good in your 12th exams then you have to fill a form named dhe through which you can enroll in any college coming under Panjab University and the selection process is made on the merit that you scored.
Faculty :
Every teacher has to handle a class of 60 to 80 students depending upon the year but they are very supportive and helps every student in a very kind manner. Mainly I liked Brar sir and Bandana ma'am as they taught us like their own children and guided us in a great way which helped in going on a right path. The mid term and final exams are held in each semester which are of 40 and 80 marks respectively which are quite tough and half a class fail to clear the finals due to their absence in the classes. The study load is very much during the exams due to vast syllabus and the holidays before exams are less than needed
