Campus is very good and environment of the university is not much bad but good
The fee for the course is affordable and no extra charges are applied other than registration fee of 300/-

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum here is not only limited to study but there are many other activities within the department to boost your knowledge and confidence. Elections are too conducted and the time of election is quite interesting

Class Size : 200Course Fees : INR 14185 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I'm currently pursuing B.A. from panjab University Chandigarh and the fee for 1 year is 14185/- Total seats for B.A. are 200 and is totally merit based. No entrance test is conducted or required for this course Hostel allotments are crucial for this course as it is evening deptt but some seats are available on merit basis One can get scholarship if their income is less than 3 lakhs per annum Fee for SC/ST category is comparatively less

Campus Life :

All festivals are celebrated in the campus Youth fests,dj nights,freshers and farewell too are held There are many clubs in the campus Sports grounds too are available A gym for men and women and gym in every hostel is provided

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel rooms are clean and fresh and are maintained properly Meals provided are good and hygienic For hostel allotment one need to fill hostel form and hostels are alloted on merit basis The hostel room rent per month is 1000

Hostel Fee : INR 48000 per year

Admission :

I didn't applied anywhere else. I only applied for panjab University For getting admission in the course one need to fill the registration form and once they fill the form a merit list is out releasing names of selected candidates and it is purely merit based

Faculty :

The faculty for the course are good and friendly. The professors are great teachers and are very nice The best faculty are of arts and commerce and they are quite helpful to students The exams are held in december and may respectively and the level of paper is not too tough . One can easily manage to get passed

Reality of dav college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bachelor of arts is a good course which can be done easily and it is good to do this course if u want to go in civil services I chose it do perform well in upsc cause it covers the syllabus of upsc There are some faculty who are rude and i dont like them and also dont understand their way of teaching Exams timing are good and anyone can enjoy and study during this course you will not be in huge pressure ! And i liked it thats why this course is must fir upsc and other civil services aspirants It will cover their syllabus and u will get to know more about subjects more effectively

The major reason for choosing the course is that I want to prepare for civil services and most of the syllabus of that is covered in B.A and I also thinks that I will be able to inderstand the functioning of our finance ministry and other institutions.
