- The Professors are very experienced and have very nice gesture towards every student and their problems. They also do encourage their students by telling their past experiences during their work which very nice to hear from them.
- The labs are highly Classy and have good appratus which is why every student is so eager to do practicals the whole week.
Dislikes
- I do dislike the fact that the food there of you can say canteen is little expensive and not every student can afford to buy daily.
- I also do not like the parking slot due to charging.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is great amd that what makes me choose this course. The curriculum does prepare us for the real world cause is just very top notch as saud before. There are some areas which is surely needs to be improved which is the placement cells.. There can be more of that. There are two semesters in an year. 2nd semester is likely to be easy than the first one every year based upon my experience.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My yearly fees is approximately ?30000 which keeps on changing every years follwed by semester. The labs are very Good and the exposure is very fulfilling which is why I chose this university. There are no lab charges as such. There are my scholarships every year coming up which I hadn't applied for any but my known did mainly for fee concession and sports one. There is sure an SC/ST quota. But also UT pool reservation for thode who have done their Matriculation and 12th class from Chandigarh itself. The fees of my Bachmates of another category is less than mine but of course not too less just difference od ?2000-3000.
Campus Life :
There is youth fest every year which is considered highly important and have many benifits for thise who won. There is a great range of books in our library. The accessibility is also good there. Every classroom has Smart board. The sports and the extra curricular activities are very much offered and highly recommend to students out there. There are many societies for every field which does their work very appreciably. The students are very admired and have good impact on them of these activities.
Admission :
I did apply for many universities in delhi and also got admission in sone but due to the distance problem I chose this university. There was no problem overall than this. I did got rejection for one but that is just because of the cut off not much. Admission process in my college is from an entrance exam. Entrance exam is different for every course. Cut off is hight for some but not all.
Faculty :
The faculty there is so approchable as said before. There is nice interaction between student and faculties which is the best thing to have in college. The best Faculty for me is surely to be of Chemistry. The teachers their are so experienced and fun to teach. The one which I dont like much is may be Botany cause they are sometimes too strict with everything. There is Semester time examination and also in every semester there are mid terms exams which is very important to give and score good to have roll no. for final semester examination. The exams are not that hard.. It depends upon the subject mainly. There are not many studennts who fail the examination The course curriculum is very top notch.
