Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum offers range of specialization and elective courses. There is good balance between theoritical and practical knowledge but it can be further improved by updating curriculum with more real world case studies.

You need to do compulsory two internship one at beginning of third year and other at end of third year to become eligible for placement process. The average salary is around 18 lakh for cse while for ece it's around 15 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees for 1 year is approax 2 lakh which includes all fees like hostel,tutition,and as well as examination fess. FOR BTECH BATCH of 2027 1) For general/obc student Tution fees:62500rs caution Fess:5000(refundable) Rgistration fees:1000rs Admission fees:3000rs Development fees:approx 10000rs Lab fees:1500rs other compulsory charges: 5000 to 7000 rs which includes library fees,sports fees,examination fees. 2)FOR SC/ST STUDENT Tution fees: Nill caution fees: 5000rs(refundable) Registration fees:1000rs Admission fees:3000rs Development fees: approx 10000rs lab fees:1500rs other fees: 5000 to 7000rs There are scholarships for sc/st student but i don't know about them as i belong to general category.

Campus Life

There are various clubs which focuses on development of your technical as well as your communication skills, some of popular clubs are drishti, nexus, acm, and atpac.library contains wide range of books for all domains, there is around 30000 books available in it.

Hostel Facilities

For first year you will allotted room in gajjar bhavan. The size of room is quite big but it's bit old. It's infrastructure is not that much good. Quality of mess food is average. There is facility of lan as well as wifi but it's speed is descent.

Admission

i took admission in this college because this is only one of top nit which offers artificial intelligence course. You need to give jee main exam to get admission in this college. The cutoff for cse is under 7000 crl while for ai is 14000 crl.

You need to maintain atleast 60% attendance otherwise you will be not allowed to sit in examination.The difficulty of exam is moderate.In one sem there are two exam one is your midsem and other is endsem. Midsem is of 30 marks and endsem is of 50 marks.

Interview Experience

For admission to the svnit there was no group discussion or interview process. The thing which u need is to clear jee main with good rank. To prepare,I had join local coaching and follow the material which is provided and solved pyqs.

Worst educational experience of my life

From 6th semester we became eligible for campus placemet many companies asked to have cleared all the backlogs in the respective subjects of the students Companies visited are e spark biz , webcode genie , shaligram , casepoint ,alpha e ,ignek ,lanet , silvertouch, invonix , brevitaz , tatva soft the offers are generally between 2 to 5 lakhs per annum 5 lakhs being the higest achieved by our students Placement percentage used to be very high when chande sir was in tpo it was around 60 to 70 percent but in my batch it shrank to just 20 percent I have started an import export company after getting the degree i am planning to clear gate and go for the masters now i am quite finically stable and ready for any challenges life throws at me

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.

Why SVNIT is Good Choice!

The course I was getting that drove me to this college. This syllabus is best. Alreaddy told that I was getting LDCE and Nirma University with ECE branch, but I took drop that year. It was drop year and I was applying for DAIICT, but due to JEE rank i couldn't get that branch. I was getting the ECE in this collge, but planned for drop. Yes, this college stands strong based on previous understanding before coming to this college. Apply for JEE Exam, clear the exam with good score, I mean a good rank will ensure for all the branch. Now apply using JoSAA portal, then you will get the branch as per that year competition. Percentile 89 is good for cutoff.
