- The campus is too nice and beautiful it gives very cheerful vibe , which actually promotes most of the students to come and see this college
- The vibe of this college is on different level as people are very friendly and most of them even help you out
Dislikes
- The faculties they do not attend to the needs of the students, infact in our first year we weren't taught the same the first year of now is being taught, i wish we had such lessons
- The hostel it's very unhealthy to have girls enter the hostel at 6pm they cannot even roam in the campus whereas boys can roam around 10 pm inside the campus and the warden is also pretty rude to the girls
Course Curriculum Overview :
Nothing influenced me but yes the recruiter of DIT University sure did influence my father to get into this college, although if i was a first year admission now I would be kind of happy as they actually are getting some help from the college to understand the course in a better way but it did not happen in our case, but over all it's a good experience as you learn alot yourself
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My yearly fees is 160,000 and yes i also have a domicile applied of Uttarakhand. The fee for consecutive four years with domicile applied is 640,000 in this registration fee is there admission fee is also there and other necessary charges my other batchmates who do not have a domicile applied have to give fee 800000 for four years The scholarship available are girl child scholarship Sports Merit
Campus Life :
There are many festivals that are celebrating in this University whether it's holi, or janmashtami etc The most awaited technical festival that students wait for is youthopia it's a 3 day festival it's a nice and wonderful fest that is conducted various students participate to showcase their talents and also there is live music night in which they call some or the other famous singer
Admission :
I applied to many colleges but this was the nearest from my home town and i had to be here on my father's choice I never faced rejection as such from other colleges that I applied to i just wanted to pursue fashion designing but I guess destiny had it's role to play and i got into ux ui design so it's neither here nor there but I'm happy with this course as well Everyone is eligible to apply to DIT University there are no exams conducted as such or that I know of the cutoffs must be 35 percent.
Faculty :
There are some faculties who are actually wonderful but are not given enough credit because DIT University does not know how to keep a good faculty in campus, we had to loose some amazing faculties because of DIT University as they do not know how to handle the "successful brains" there are mostly two exams one is the internal jury and the other is external jury (this is for UX/UI course). So in internals you have to score nicely as it is considered your first impression and then for the external jury the jurers are outsiders who are from different colleges or either working as a UX UI designer so they see your work of the entire semester and give you credits
