Remarks :

Reputed and known University. Very Clean and Great environment to study. Very experienced faculty. Industry experts are frequent. Best in terms of facilities provided by the college for the course. It has a maximum number of Student to Cintiq ratio across India.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This is a very unique course as I am doing specialisation in Transportation design. In Bachelor's, it's a very coarse and the faculty are Industrial leaders who have worked in the industry for very long. Overall facilities and guidance make you industry-ready. Majority of the faculty are Masters in their Qualifications. Internal exams and terminal exams were somewhat difficult.

Internships Opportunities :

College process with a lot of internship opportunities under various industries and industry experts. The stipend is variable but majority wise no stipend is offered. From small startups to big recruiter all the companies come looking for Interns from our college.

Placement Experience :

Campus placements are up to 80 percent per course which is very high. Overall placements are good. Job offers are in Good amounts. Big Companies like BYJUs, TCS and L&T are major recruiters.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are High but not very high as compared to other colleges offering the same courses. Domicile scholarships are provided to girls. Class toppers are provided with scholarships. Every semester costs about 2 lakhs that makes annual fees 4 lakhs. Every year there's a fee hike of 10 percent.

Campus Life :

The campus life is one of the best campus life because of the valley around and the beauty of nature. Annual fest makes us enjoy big stars like Harrdy Sandhu and Parmish Verma. Ignite, Doon Design fest and UUrja are the major fests which occur throughout the year. Special fests are organised in the design department for different festivals.

Hostel Facilities :

Campus boys hostel is fine in terms of serving. It's not up to the marks. Food Quality is fine. Taste is fine. No personal washrooms. Common washrooms. 24-hour hot water facility. Expensive laundry. Saftey wise very safe. Cleanliness wise very clean. Has facilities for badminton court and tt table with a common tv room.

Interview Experience :

Yes, I had a personal interview and Design entrance exam before entering college. It's regarding what you know about the design and why you want to join this course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Nothing influenced me but yes the recruiter of DIT University sure did influence my father to get into this college, although if i was a first year admission now I would be kind of happy as they actually are getting some help from the college to understand the course in a better way but it did not happen in our case, but over all it's a good experience as you learn alot yourself

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are few exams and more juries. the course curriculum is very relevant to the course and very knowledgeable. its takes a student to research and study more regardless of what is taught in college for their own gain in knowledge. the faculty provides with my site and practical lab visits to make it interesting and more knowledgeable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course had some of the best faculty for the fees and the course here has only a little of real world applications but they make fundamentals really strong they could remove foundation year where everyone has the same subjects and focus on specialization from the very beginning and the exams are a little too frequent and a lot of work pressure is their so it gets difficult to do everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

The freedom to be as creative as I can be is the one thing that attracted me to pursue this course while learning I realize that the course itself will provide you with the outline of what is needed and going on in the industry but it's completely up to the student how well he or she wants to prepare themselves for the industry. But I think our course could include the latest developments in the industry highlighting the challenges and opportunities in the current era. We dont have exams in design, we have juries and exhibitions where we have to present our works and get hands-on review

Placement Experience:

Being a Private College, placement are offered but the package is not up to the mark. The fees is preety high but the placements are not. Also placement is not 100% especially for School of Design. Hence most of the students don't go for on campus placements.
