Course Curriculum Overview :

Course is quite comprehensive and provides detailed study of organic chemistry. This made me choose the subjects. It prepares you well for further academic pursuits. However there are certain aspects that can be improved like they can add internship in thesis/ last semester to improve practical knowledge. They can add their own placement cell and should also prepare students for abroad academic programs. They can also add more skill based courses and should provide masters in them. Exams are not difficult if concepts are clear. However marking is hard.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

1 lac per annum has been payed. It is not increased since then. Examination fee is 5000 and other fees are 45000. Fees is same for all the students. 1 scholarship for excellent merit is provided for EWS students.

Campus Life :

Annual sports week and Jashn-e-Adab are some of the sports and cultural festivals respectively held every year in the university. You can access books easily from the departmental as well as from central library. Classes are air conditioned. Sports facilities are good provided with cricket field, bvilleyball court and badminton court in the college. There are Eco clubs, Girlup union and various other groups. However they are not much active.

Admission :

It is based in Delhi and nearer from my hometown and provides good quality education. Thats is the reason i chose this college over other government universities. Admission process is based on percentage and now CUET PG score.

Faculty :

Faculty student ratio is 1:3. All the faculty members are very much approachable. Faculty members I liked are Imran sir, Shafi sir and Kalim sir. They are very good at teaching the concepts thoroughly and takes doubts whenever required. They don't use presentation notes and teach in real time. They are no such members i don't like. There are 5-6 subjects each semester and exams are held for them. One can score good in exams if studied the concepts well.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after they finish their major project, which is compulsory on site experience offered during 4th semester, upon which all twenty-nine credits depend all top-notch companies like Indian Oil, WWF, RMS, CHEORS, Giz, KPMG, TTC, RMS, Aditya Birla group, Indian infrastructure, Solidaridad amongst others. The starting salary range is from five to 14 lakhs per annum. About 80% of students get placed from campus, however, 100% of the students get jobs within 5 to 6 months of getting employed. My plans are to get a PhD from a reputed institution and to further on build my career from there onwards.

Admission:

The admission process is pretty stiff. The seat allotment is on the basis of merit list. Students have to appear for the entrance exam. The merit list is prepared on the basis of the scores of entrance exam and overall academic record of the student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is one of its kind. The institute has initiated programs which are not available at any other institute. The research work is especially good. The course will establish a legit base in the research field which will help you to pursue a career in the Bioinformatics industry in India and abroad.
