- I am a practicing muslim and a religious man so the most liked fact for me was the ease to pray there as it has two masjids inside the campus.
- There are many canteens inside the campus.
Dislikes
- There was no security on gate, anyone can enter and harm students. The guards at the gate never stops anyone to enter or nor they check id card. There were many people from locality present in the campus without any reason and just to make chaos.
- The infrastructure is very very low, no AC in classes, lifts not working, railings of staircase broken, plastic gates of class, plastic walls of class, fans/lights were in weird direction, very dirty scratchy white board, very uncomfortable bench
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course was well designed but it was not taught correctly. There are two things in teaching a technology. First reading and then applying, second, practical implementation. For the first part the teachers were not good enough to teach us in right manner. For the second part, the University didn't arranged fully working computer labs. The course definately prepares for the real world applications because cse ai is in trend. The teaching methods and the practicals should be improved Frequency and difficulty level of exams was fine
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for B.Tech computer science engineering with artificial intelligence was 1,05,000/- per semester. It was 2,10,000/- annually. 5,000/- was examination fees and 1,00,000/- was tuition fees. In the starting of the course they took additional 15,000/- in which 5,000/- was library deposit (refundable). The fees has increased now
Campus Life :
I met very nice people here and i liked the environment that was outside the class and department because it felt nice to enjoy the greenery and the fun people do outside. There are many societies and clubs but i was not interested so dont have much to tell about them. This university is for someone who wants to enjoy college life and just want a degree irrespective of the learning outcome of career. If you study less, still you can pass the exam by cheating or by any means. Even if you get a backlog then also you can clear it easily. You can enjoy college life here. Just make friends who are in hostel. The University is open 24/7. No time limits
Admission :
No i didn't applied to other colleges because i wanted to do graduation in ai or ml and in india the fees was very high so i thought to study in abroad. I was planned to take a drop year but then I got to know that jamia hamdard has ai and it is just started. So basically i chosed the course not the college. I didn't made to other colleges because i didn't applied for any Admission process is very simple, just fill the form and your name will come. Yes there are many exams accepted here but no need. If you are pursuing anything other than medical field then keep this university on your last option. And specially for engineering, taking a drop year will be better.
Faculty :
Faculty members were mostly PHDs, 80% of the teachers just came in class very late then just read the ppt or a book that was only on their table and then leave. They spend the whole semester in rescheduling or cancelling the class right just some minutes before when they were scheduled and then finishing the syllabus in the last week or giving it like assignment just for the sake of finishing the syllabus. No practical knowledge was given, we had computer lab which was worse than a cyber cafe shop. Some teachers also behave so arrogantly with students. The teachers had the qualification but they didn't know how to teach. Faculty members other than the teachers were also of no help. If we wanted to get some management, documentation work done then we have to run to the HOD's office or the main building for many times. All of them behave with a lot of attitude and don't they respond even when standing right in front of their face. They keep ignoring and just surfing on the internet.l
