Big campus as it provides places and areas for different game and activities which facilitates more than 20 games and more than 60 clubs
Most large base of senior connectivity all over the world

Kharagpur weather is not good over the year. Summer is very hot and with all the humidity its very sticky to live and study
Very poor connectivity with any long transportation medium like airport or good railway station

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is really best as it provides in dept knowledge of courses along with industry experience which is very much required in this competitive world to get a good job and building careers. Even though it is so good it's load is very less with five hour classes daily for five days a week. Just a tab of Bachelor of Science is what we do not like..

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No the fees is not increasing and per semester tuition fees is 1 lakh. For a year there are two semester fir which they charge 2 lakh. Mess and hostel fees depend on the hall of residence in which you are residing as for different hall there are different charges

Campus Life :

There are more than 30 clubs in Indian institute of technology Kharagpur I am involved in around 5 clubs in this campus among which the major ones are beak club share and spring fest. Springfield as you all knows Asia's largest and oldest cultural and social fest organised by college every year we get around 80000 attenders from all over India to participate and compete with each other in our fest which contains over 110 events. It is completely organised by the students with no involvement of management of the campus because of which every student associated with the club learn about a management and improve his or her communication skills which help him or her in their career and in the future for interview and in their life. 180 DT and business club are very good for making connection all over the world with different a students with the same goal and career path and help us each about learning different concepts of business and consultancy

Admission :

It's the best of the best. Ranked third overall in India in QC World Rankings in the category of Engineering college. With all the pros mentioned earlier, it's not a brainer why I took this one. It also has a high level of culture and integrity with a wide background of students coming every year from all around India and they are the brightest minds. the alumn connectivity is the best among any college in India.

Faculty :

Faculties are top notch. They are one of the greatest mind in their field with phds and masters in their subjects and courses from top universities around the world. Their letter of recommendation are very precious for studying abroad.they are respected for their performance and teaching methods. If you want to study or do masters this is one of the best place to study

The overview of my campus life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite good especially after the new NEP rule that is made compulsory for every institute. The new style of credit division and introduction of new labs are quite interesting. The teaching style and course implementation is also appreciable.

IIT Kharagpur: Honest Review

Placement Experience:

The placement in Our college is quite good.Normally around 80% of the people get placed through CDC which is the on campus organisation that connects students with companies.The placement cell even provides some foreign internships and jobs due to immense amount of connections they have around the world.They even conduct workshops to help the students know about the industry and acquire soft skills which are needed to get placed.

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester companies coke for internship and in 7th sem you are allowed to sit in placements. This is the average package was a bit lower around 20lpa but for cse it was 42 lpa. Aroud 600 700 companies came and usually make 1400 1500 offers and about 80 percent of the students are placed oncampus and the others if they have skill get offers offf campus also

IIT kgp-a dream

Placement Experience:

Internship opportunities starts here from 3rd year .People get exposure as to how working in real field looks like.Placements are quite good.Average salary is around 15 LPA.Median is about 17 LPA.Highest was 36 LPA . Around 40 percent were only placed.I plan to getting placed in one the top core company.

IIT kharagpur is the best

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am new to this curriculum but I am happy with my decision. Median package of this year is 21 lakhs in this course and faculty are too friendly. Exams are a little on the tougher side. We will have field trips for the research purpose overall it's a very underrated branch And we can try non core if we want to...since there is a lot of free time

A Mixed Bag of primarily amazing and life-changing experiences

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Top companies like Apple, Microsoft and Google do offer placements and PPOs to students. Students are eligible for placements in their final year. Highest offers go up to as high as Rs. 2 Cr or 4 Cr. About 750+ offers including PPOs were made during first few days of the start of the placement season this year in IIT Kharagpur. Overall placement percentage as been above 85%. Profiles of placements vary, including a good mix of both core companies and tech companies. I intend to pursue MS in Economics or MBA, depending on future interests.

IISER bhopal the heaven for science

Placement Experience:

Since iiser Bhopal is a research college so they don't focus mainly on placements although there is a placement cell in iiser most of the students after doing graduation choose to study further. But if any student wants to do a job after graduation they can appear in a college placement interview and they do jobs. But I want to study further.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as it is interdisciplinary. This means I have to study all subjects for 2 years. It is my interest in research and basic science. The faculty is amazing but the administration is slow. The faculty members are very good. Term exams twice. And it is difficult.
