Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is good in itself but sometimes teachers fail to make us understand things and we have to learn it ourselves from YouTube, Google of somewhere else. The syllabus never gets completed on time so you have to study by yourselves only.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 420000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

This is the college Named JIS College of Engineering located in Kalyani in the Nadia district of Kolkata. The fee structure of bca is 4,80,000 approx without a scholarship but If any student is from Bihar and he/she wants to study using a Bihar student credit card then the fee for them is 4,20,000. The yearly fee for Bihar students is for the first year it's 1,50000 for 2nd year and 1,30,000 and for 3rd year it's also the same.

Campus Life :

Overall experience is good. It has got a good environment for studies if you want to study you can do it properly. Teachers will also help you and support you if you have any doubts so everything is good.

Admission :

I personally choose this college because of some personal reasons but If I compare this to other colleges It has got a good infrastructure and facilities so it's good. And so many things are good and bad also because everything has two faces.

Faculty :

The teaching staff are good and supportive. There are 2 semesters in a year and a total of 6 semesters in 3 years. The paper goes out for checking and there is a strict checking rule so you have to study properly to pass the exam.

A Good-Bad College Experience.

Placement Experience:

We started preparing for our placements from semester 4. And the preperation kept on increasing with each semester. The companies like SAP, Accenture, Deloitte, TCS started visiting from 5th semester. Their average package varied between 4-5 LPA. If 100 students sit for placement, then approx 85% are placed. That is the biggest flex of the college. We all were placed too.

My College life was awesome, i never forget it.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, you can be eligible for the placements. There are many companies visited in our college like Amazon, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Sutherland, etc. The Highest package salary is like 3,50,000/- maximum, and the average package is 2,75,000/- I have seen in my college life. But there are so many companies that visited in the past few years, they offered up to 4,50,000/-. There are 60% are placed in the company.

Remarks:

College is very strict regarding discipline and timing. You need to enter college before 9.13 or you can enter at 10.30. You cannot enter and leave college at your own well and wish. In spite of discipline, you will enjoy your college days and become a professional after three years.
