Course Curriculum Overview :

This course curriculum helped me a lot in my work i'm currently doing. Aspects include digital electronics, Analog electronics created a strong foundation in automotive embedded career. It goes through the real time applications and scenarios. More practical works need to be included in the course curriculum other than this. Frequent exams is good to go through the studies and it will help to reduce the difficulty level of the final exam. Marks given for the answers should be increased because it can't be complete within the time.

Placement Experience :

Seventh semester onwards we got placement offers. Around 15+ companies visited which related to technical and non-technical job roles. Companies include TCS, Titan steel(TEAL), South Indian Bank, Mitsogo, UST global, Speridian, Haritha Techserv, Cognizant. Highest package around was South Indian Bank which offered 12 LPA and average package were almost 4.5 LPA. Around 70 percentage of students got placed through campus placement. My plan is to go for the placement provided by the college for the experience

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I joined college as a LET student through merit category. I paid 20000 rs year-wise which include tution fees, development fees, and lab fees. Caution fees came around 5000 rs which they refunded after the completion of the course. My friend joined through NRI category and she paid 44000 rs per semester exculding the donation fee. College also providing financial aids for students with low economic background. Egrants scholarship is provided for keam merit qualified students where they don't need to pay the semester fee and merit cum needs with 25000 rs per annum.

Campus Life :

Overall campus experience were very memorable. College conducts annual tech fest called Tharang which is an intercollege event usually conducted during november. College has a huge library where a vast range of books and journals is available. Classrooms comes with technologically advanced provisions like internet access, projector displayed lecturers and white boards. Campus conducts sports and extracurricular activities in each year. Clubs like NSS, IEE, IEDC, IEI, IETE are there for engaging student interactions and also student portals are there for helping the students.

Admission :

After completing my diploma i applied for government colleges. First i got call in government engineering college, Palakkad. But i chose jyothi over it because of the hostel reason. I didn't get any rejection from other colleges because i didn't applied for other colleges. Admission process follows submitting documents, paying the tution fee and others. This couse accepts only 12 th passed students with above 50 percentage pcm score and also diploma graduates. Overall admission experience was quite good.

Faculty :

Faculty-to-student ratio in our college is like 1 for 3 students. So that students have strong bond with faculties and they are easily approachable. In our department we loves all our faculties because they all treated us as their child. Department HOD Jenson sir, Shijoh sir, Kapil sir, Anu miss all helped us a lot. I like Naveen sir because of his sincerity towards his work and also the teaching way. There is no one whom i didn't like. There is 2 internal exams in a semester before the university exam. It seems easy to crack. Overall 70 percentage of students got passed the exams and the course curriculum is easy too.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements starts generally from the seventh semester in the fourth year. Nehru institutions have a lot of hold with multinational companies so a lot of companies like TCS, BPL, Amazon are offering placements to students who have no back papers. The highest package offered by companies is 9lakhs per year and the average salary is 4000/month. Mainly placements are offered to computer science engineering students comparatively.

Placement Experience:

The only student from the 4th year was eligible for campus placements. Every year nearly 88% of students got placed. Our batch was also not an exception. Most jobs were taken up by cse stream followed by our stream. Companies visited included Infosys, Cognizant Technology Solutions,ITC Infotech, Odessa Technologies, and others. The highest package of 5 lakhs was offered by Infosys.Cts offered 4 lakhs highest. The average package offered to all was 3 lakhs per annum.ITC offered 3.6 lakhs per annum. My plan after getting a degree was to join the job of CTS. Then I had dreams of an MBA in the future if possible since it would attract higher packages in the future. Many friends of mine got double offers. There were offers from. Sonodyne, Vodafone also. Since I got a job already,I didn't seat for Vodafone. Vodafone also offered a handsome package of 4 lakhs per annum.ZTE operations also took few students from our college
