Course Curriculum Overview :

I like enginnering feild maily site works that's why i choose civil engineering. All faculty members are very friendly talkable, majority of the faculty members are Phd holders and others are M tech graduated. The term exams appears 6 months interval and it was not too difficult to pass

Class Size : 56Course Fees : INR 85500 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Several internships are offered by the staff members last year may majority of the students attended 7 days, 5 days internships at authorised companies. The faculty members of civil department provides one day internship at Malabar cement Factory and a aqueduct view.

Placement Experience :

From fifth semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements, several companies visited for no of placement offers of an average package of 5000-9000. After getting this degree i wants to work as a trainee at any construction company for the experience and for studying the site works

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Further fee structures are there and i don't know that completely am an lateral entry student and the fee needed for a sem is 18500/- for the lateral entry students those who haven't any scholarships. I have a E-Grantz scholarship for Schedule Caste

Campus Life :

All annual fests are conducted in the campus arts sports, tech fest and everything, the name of tech fest is TARANG. Majority of the fests are conducted in the even sems, but this year the tech fest tarang was conducted early in odd sem. At library all kind of course based books and severnal journal papers for seminar and projects are available. Sports day is conducted only one day no further day for sports. NSS are very active in the campus

Admission :

I am a Diploma graduated and Thslc and not studied 12th. I got an admission through lateral entry exam, I have an E-grantz scholarship because of SC reservation. I don't have furthur suggestions for the admission process, the admission process is ok

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
