Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is pretty robust but still requires some more real world applications. Exams happen every 2-3 months. Varied teaching methods are used and students are encouraged to conduct various activities for their marks.

Placement Experience

4

Students are eligible for placements from 5th semester onwards in UG and 3rd semester in their pg. Various companies ranging from tech to finance visit the campus for various roles. Around 900 students got placed last year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees come around the range of 30,000-40,000 per year for my course. There is scholarship facility available for marginal sections and financially weaker people. The college is affordable for my course compared to others.

Campus Life

4

The library is one of the best in terms of books and journals available. Fests are conducted year round and classes are equipped with good amount of technological equipments. The campus is huge and there are several clubs too

Admission

The high ranking of the college along with being located in a metropolitan city convinced me to take an admission and Join this college. The admission process is merit based through their website after which selected candidates are informed.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty to student ratio is pretty decent and are very approachable. In my course the faculty is very cooperative and academic oriented. There are 2 internal exams in one semester and 1 external in one semester. The exams are quite easy with high amount of students clearing it

Placement Experience:

Our college provides placement. At first they will conduct some training programme for those students who are all interested and paid fee for placements after that based on the performance of the students in the interviews they got selected. Companies like Accenture and many others come forward. The percentage of the students getting placed is depends on good performance. I planned to look forward for some jobs by cracking some exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well the course provides almost everything which is needed and available. This is not a normal economics course as it involves statistics, python, core math and also dives into data science. This allows the students to explore various subjects and can choose which is their best fileld. The curriculum overall is very rigorous and intense but you can crack it if you study regularly. About the frequencies of the examinations, we have 2 internal examinations and 1 end semester examination. I can guarantee that this course is super rigorous but im not sure if i would necessarily say that the course is "practical" and it helps us in the real word. I cannot comment on the practicality of the courses. The exams are not super difficult and its moderate. Getting more than 90% can be challenging although clearing the paper won't be an impossible task.
