reason for me choosing loyola is it was the top ranked college in the state for commerce and the placement opportunity it attracts is a lot more than other colleges.apart from loyola i also applied for PSG college in coimbatore ,i got the seat in there but i had hopes in loyola so i didnt take the seat but MCC i didnt receive the call ,the major mistake was me not applying sooner. I applied for Madras christian college, tambaram and Loyola college,chennai. I didn't get the admission in the first try, second try and even after all the three lists were announced my name was not on the board, So I joined in Jaya college of arts and science in nemilicherry. After one month of going there i got a call from Loyola so thats how i joined the college. It depends upon the marks and sometimes the grace of god that you fall into good hands, because during the time i joined my bachelors Loyola was one of the top colleges for science, and the admission was purely on marks. During my masters programme, the selection was through entrance exam and an interview from the rescpective departments. As you know good teachers can cultivate good students. I did cleared the admission process and joined there.
