- The campus is very beautiful and also very big. We have many things to explore and also many facilities are available. We can get anything at any time, and this is the best aspect. We don't have to bother much about daily needs and food corners as e.
- There is a supermarket in every hostel so that students don't waste their time in geeting their daily needs. Also because of this we save a lot of time and get time to focus on our studies and bring out the best outputs for ourselves,
Dislikes
- The competition is a good aspect but a bad aspect as well, sometimes the weak students cannot take the competition upto the mark and hence find themselves in trouble and depressed. This according to me is a drawback that the university has .
- There are a lot of events that sometimes students feel distracted out of their studies because of these activities. They feel a peer pressure to participate in all but feel they cannot cope up with their studies with all these events going on the sid
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is very apt according to the course and there are detailed subjects which help to broaden our knowledge. The curriculum also includes practical knowledge hence it is applicable and helpful in the real world as well. The course is very detailed and a bit too lengthy I feel some topics are such which do not need much attention and hence should be cut short so that the students can pay attention to the important ones. The exams are held every 2 months that is the mid-sem exams and the final and end-sem exams.
Placement Experience :
There are a lot of placement opportunities that are available in the college. Students are eligible for the placement from the last semester that is the 8th semester. The companies that come are one of the top companies like Sygenta, Bayer, and many more. The highest package is around 20lacs and the average package is around 5lakhs. Almost all the students who appear for placements get one. I plan to get a good placement in some top company and get a luring package after my graduation.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tution fees are mediocre and are very well according to the curriculum taught to us the practical knowledge that is given and all that is taught. The total cost is about 700000 of the total degree including all the expenses. There are scholarships for students that are highly intelligent and also for the ones who cannot afford them but are very less. Campus provide employment for the ones who seek and are very nice opportunities.
Campus Life :
There are a lot of festivals arranged in our college and big concerts are also arranged starring big superstars from all over India. All the festivals like Christmas New Year diwali everything is celebrated as a fest or as a function. There are a lot of books that are available in the library seperate time is given to up for studying in the library. All the departments have a seperate library for their specific subject and there is a central Library where everyone can go. There are smartboards in all the classes and the college is technically very advanced. There is a seperate hostel for sports students and they are highly encouraged. There are clubs for every interest and you can enroll in any club that you like.
Hostel Facilities :
The rooms are well equipped and very well ventilated. There is a balcony attached to every room and the facilities are top-notch. There is an attached bathroom and washroom for every room, and ac geysers all these facilities are available. The menu is very apt and there are various items provided on the menu, the quality of food is also always improvised and maintained. And also if someone doesn't like something they can share their feedback. The registration for the hostel is separate, and according to the facilities provided the fees are genuine. No, I stay in a hostel.
Admission :
The eligibility criteria was on the basis of the marks attained in 12th standard and a benchmark was set that the students with more than those marks . Also there was a test that was conducted that is known as LPU Nest and the students that get good marks are then selected . The application form is available online and anyone can contact their executive for help you can also visit their website and the college campus as well and you will be guided. No reservations benifit is given as such. The exams are help in every 2 months, and are difficult but can be cracked if one has the attention to detail. The induction program of LPU know as Freshman Induction Program is a very time consuming process and can be reduced a bit to save the times of students as well as the parents.
Faculty :
The facilities are very nice and kind and are from all the corners of the country. The student-to-teacher ratio is such that the teacher can provide separate attention to students when it is required and can focus on each child. The facilities have a keen desire to teach students in different innovative ways that the students understand nicely. Teachers are very friendly and we get time to interact with them and can ask our queries and they very supportingly help us.
