Truth Of the College

Dislikes

  • The semester examination papers have literally no gap in between making it a very hectic process to study

Course Curriculum Overview :

VIIT College's civil department is ranked second in Maharashtra. The practicals conducted by the teachers are very well used right now in the industry. The college can work on the use of more advanced techniques that will be used and the use of software for doing so. Exams are conducted in two phases insem and endsem. Both papers are of medium difficulty.

Internships Opportunities :

Cummins-Internship in data analysis and industrial development stipend 20000 Fateh education Internship in event management stipend of 10000 TCS- internship in software development, Stipend 12000. Nvidia- Internship in game development Stipend: 20000

Placement Experience :

The students can apply for placements through the training and placement cell from the 6th semester which is in the 3rd year. Many startups and big companies like Microsoft and Amazon visit the college and mass recruiters like Wipro, and Accenture also take part in the placement procedure. 60-70 % of students get placed every year although the placement percentage is very low for people from core branches like civil and mechanical. I plan to join the Indian Airforce for which I am currently preparing.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college increases the fees by 10000 each year. The complete cost of my education is 186000 per year. The college provides scholarships all offered by the Government of India including EWS VJNT scholarship and many more.

Campus Life :

Technical fests like Vizathon, Mechmerize, hackathons, and Codechief happen throughout the year. Usually held during November, January, and March. Almost every book related to the subject in your course is available in the library along with fiction reads and books from other such areas. There is a newspaper library too. The sports facilities in the college are great with sports ranging from kabaddi, and cricket to football and volleyball. Clubs like AESA, CESA, EDC, and AAWISHKAR are all student-run groups.

Admission :

All courses here are of 4 years The admission process is directly through the state CET exam and JEE exams. For people who have reservation the college fees is significantly reduced and the increase in the fees is also less. Ranging from 5000 rs per year.

Faculty :

The teachers are very well qualified. Many of them are PHDs and some even graduate from IITs. The student to teacher ratio is approx. 65:1. The teachers are quite friendly with students in regard to doubts asked to them.

Talking about placements, most of the placements occurs in CSE and IT branch, but surprisingly in the Government College of Engineering Aurangabad, the Mechanical branch has the same placements comparatively just the fact is that the package is less.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As every Diploma passing student enters to degree college same process I went through. The faculty of the college are well educated and hardworking. As a student, you have to reach out to your faculty and maintain a good relation with them to get constant support from them. the ratio is 25:1. The teaching method of professors is very professional. Exams are as per the government regulations and the difficulty level is moderate for general students.

Students are encouraged to take internships from the moment they are confident and can handle responsibility. They are eligible for placements after semester 4. Approximately 60+ companies visit the campus every year and they take an average of 4-5 offers. For instance, the highest package can be 40+lpa from Microsoft. 90-100% placements happen every year. My plan after getting the degree is to acquire a placement and work with the organization.

The college Bajaj Institute of Technology, Wardha is very reputed college as it is Shiksha Mandal's college. I saw many advertisement about this college throughout the year and that's why choose to take admission in it.

Till now no company has visited. 2 students are selected and that is with their own efforts. Not having any job referral because hardly few students are placed. In startup one group won the hackathon and I guess they are doing their startup thing
