Remarks :
The minimum criteria are you must pass the class 12 exam and through mht cet counselling round you get admission. You must have 80 plus percentile to get into viit for good branches like cs or it, you must have 94 plus percentile in mhtcet.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I have an interest in the hardware part of things. talking about the student ratio is good. Like in my branches we have more than 70 girls out of 180 total students. Faculties are well educated and have degrees from IITs and colleges like coep. Most of them are PhD holders. Teaching is good methods are good they have great communication skills. Being an autonomy institute the exams are quite easier than University exams.
Internships Opportunities :
There are many companies that come for internships offered to students. The major ones are TCS and Mindtree. They require problem solving skills from you. your project must be good. Like if you make a project using python you must compile GUI and ml and data science in it.
Placement Experience :
The placement percentage is good. Overall more than 200 plus student got placed in 2019. The placements for core branches like civil and mechanical is poor but for cs and it, it is good. the highest package Holder got 28 LPA in Amazon off campus. I am also preparing for placements hopefully will get a good placement in the good mnc.
Fees and Financial Aid :
Fees are quite high. There are so many scholarships available for students. Also some quota for students of different casts. If you belong to cast then you can easily manage to pay your fees but if you don't have an NCL certificate you have to pay the total fee which is 168000 for the academic year 2020 to 2021
Campus Life :
There are so many cultural activities organized by students as well as staff also. the main annual fest is called GANDHARVA. Where all the students get a chance to express their talent. The library is good and accessible. From the first day of college itself, you can able to use the library. There are so many clubs also like for startup EDC is there Rotaract for fashion shows, dance and singing.
