The studying environment is good and peaceful

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose the course because i like to become a mechanical engineer and like working with machines. I never regret taking this course because it have helped me to build my career to a great extend. Helped me in analysing my inner talents

Class Size : 10Course Fees : INR 75000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

We have internship opportunities in our college. The Faculties will assist us in finding us the best internships. The also had international level internships which was to japan for the CS students. In the last semester they will provide more opportunities like this

Placement Experience :

For our college the campus placement are so good. They provide placements in very good companies. They train you well before applying for the placements or the interview. The placements are so high for mechanical and computer students

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees that i had per year is of about 75000rs. And they provide a scholarship for each management seat students according to their plustwo amd KEAM marks. The scholarship will be from 20000 onwards.

Campus Life :

The campus life was not so good. Because i lost my 2 years due to covid. The rest were good. I have been an active member of NSS and i got so much opportunity through this. We gave cultural fest and other fests.

Admission :

The admission process was simple. You have to pass the entrance exam called the KEAM exam. Which is mandatory or admission in every college. You have to acquire a pass for each subject. Then only you will be able for admission

Faculty :

The Faculties of the college are so good. They help us when ever we need their help. The provided us better knowledge and see through our skills and helps in building them. They provide full support for us

LIFE OF A BTECH STUDENT

Placement Experience:

there are placements in every years but not every one gets it. because every one has less skills rather than coomparing their marks.becuase of their lacking of skills they have ended up being placed undeer companies which offer less salary.but some got good options also.and my collge is in a rural ares so not so many companies gets here

Yeah they do have placement here and they prefer their students more which is good and most of the time they give placement as teaching assistants. Sometimes only in the plant but mostly it's for TA and especially if you are doing your masters here it is so good

Pros and cons of NIT CALICUT

Placement Experience:

Qualcomm, ibs,Infosys etc visits. Highest package was 55 lakhs. Average package is 20 lakhs. Nearly 100 % placement in computer science engineering. After degree joining get a job through campus placement.

Remarks:

Good government University with better placement opportunities, infrastructure and good educational environment. Fee Structure is feasible and the university is stands apart.

Placement and job opportunities are fairly good in my college. A lot of good companies come for placement drives every year but it mostly depends on the student themselves. Companies like cisco,MuSigma, Goldman Sachs, Ernst and Young, Larsen and Toubro and many more come every year.
