College crowd is not fine. Students often indulge in violent activities sometimes.
College is too far from Metro station. A person coming from Metro has to take rickshaw to reach there.

Course Curriculum Overview :

??The Students actually are not ready for the real industrial exposure but the law department is trying its best to encourage freshers to participate in law fests and moot court competitions to make their CV strong. ? Areas for Improvement - • The internal exams should be conducted twice in a semester to prepare the students well before the external exams. • Weekly practise tests and quiz should be conducted by the Class mentors related to current legal affairs, Some random legal topic etc. • Instead of calling parents of the student every time there should be a separate counselling department which should give advice to the student or guide him to take his /her decision.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 105000 per year

Placement Experience :

?? Highest package- Maybe 10 lpa not above that because afterall its a private law college lowest package- 2 or 3 lpa average package- 6 lpa ?? Only 20-30% students get placement, but the reason is not that most of the students fail to get placement. Actual reason is that most of the students don't take on campus placement they go for off campus placements or wait for some more good opportunities. ? Companies / law firms who visited the campus- 1) ALS SOLICITORS & ADVOCATES 2) STATE BANK OF INDIA (SBI) 3) NANDA & NANDA ADVOCATES 4) CAPEX LEGAL 5) ARENESS 6) AMERICAN EXPRESS 7) SINGHANIA AMD PARTNERS 8) Ernest and Young (EY) ?? There is a proper recruitment process followed by the placement committee. Firstly invitation is send to the recruiter, then pre-placement talks are conducted, thirdly A pre- interview screening process is followed and lastly the Final interview is conducted for submitting list of final candidates.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

?? Fee structure of 2 semester ( Whole 1 year) is 105000/- ( Includes tuition fee, other charges) ?? I don't live in the college hostel so i don't have idea about its charges. If you are interested to know u can check it on college website or if you visit there u can check there itself. • Scholarship is provided to the person who falls in EWS, SC/ST. You can check it on official website of MAIMS. • If you become member of any college society, perks amd rewards are given to you for your work. • On campus placement is present in the college, Law firms/ Companies visit the campus for hiring talented/skilled students.

Campus Life :

?? If you are interested in any sports you have to give the trial of that sport which will be informed to you in class group or the sports society will let u know the dates of trials. ?? The ground of MAIMS is not too big its normal in size. Fests and events happen monthly or in some occasion. The society invites motivational speaker, Artists, singers, Entrepreneurs in the fest. ??A Library for law students is there in the college and also students are provided legal case law research tools which they can use for their studies.

Admission :

??To apply, you have to visit the IP UNIVERSITY site where you will get the application form. ?? There is no separate entrance exam of LLB. Admission is given on the basis of CLAT rank according to cut off. ??If you fall in EWS, SC/ST, Sports quota, Delhi resident category, then you will get the benefits it is also mentioned in the official Site. ??Counselling fees has to be submitted for the participation in the process. You have to fill the names of the college preference wise in which you are wishing to take admission. ?? If you get the college, you have to submit 50k for locking your seat in that particular college. ?? Internal exams happen only once in a semester in which 2 units come. In the external exams, All 4 units come in the question paper. ?? For external exams, you have to give the exam in some other college not in your own college. ?? Keep visiting the site for checking the application date and try to fill the form before time don't think till the last date.

Faculty :

1) To be honest, faculty only likes to interact with high scoring students they ignore the rest ones. 2) There are total 2 class of BBA LLB and BA LLB. BBA LLB - 120 (60+60) BA LLB (60+60) 3) I am not saying this about everyone, some teacher are very good who tries to solve the queries and problems of each and every students.

Placement Experience:

Speaking the truth, if one is considering placement in law courses here on this campus then it's not the right place. Indeed there are placements here too but not as per the expectations rather students do well in off-campus placements than going for on-campus placements. With an average placement of 3-4 lacs here on this campus if you still are inclined towards the same.

Perks of being Gibs Student

Course Curriculum Overview:

Doing law was a very instant decision of mine I got an interest in law during my preparation for DU -JAT and then I realized why not go for both professional couses in one go. Faculty members at gibs are very supportive and friendly they keep on motivate the students through different teaching methods. If you are at gibs you don't have to worry much about the term exams because the college prepares you for the exam from the starting they take the class test after the completion of every unit and then the internal is also there. I faced no difficulty in preparing myself for the term exams as I went through the learning process and what I have to do is only revision.

Campus placements are not the biggest strength for the law department. The rate is too low. Although they offer great internships starting from 3rd year. But campus placements aren't that efficient. Although they're expanding it now and working on it.

Amazing College. Awesome Crowd

Remarks:

It's a great college. Good infrastructure. Infact one of the best infrastructure around Delhi. We have total of 500 students in law programme and it's a closely knitted group. Faculties and seniors are helpful as well.
