Hostel facility is good includes every facility of comfortness required for student in this phase of life. Mess food is also good in terms of quality, quantity and cost. The hostel facilities and mess food are subjected to review time to time by hostel wardens and college management.

Yes, alumni and senior students are very much helpful either in campus or off campus both in studies and getting job as well.
Exam Structure :
The exam structure consist of two parts internal and external assessment. Both have equal weightage. Students have to secure 50% in both parts. The internal assessment includes attendance, assignment, power point presentation and two theory exam at a gap of one and half month in the semester. External assessment consist of end semester theory and practical exam.

In SLIET, Food Engineering and Technology Department is fortunate to have a enough compitent faculty to produce gems in this field for industry, higher education and research. All faculty members have vast knowledge in their specialized field of research.
