- Lack of campus placement and extra curricular activities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum although restricted has a vast subject variety including practical topics as well as theoretical ones. Also there is projects and presentations to be given every semester which helps build up confidence among students. However there's lack of rigorous implementation.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
This is a government subsidized University so the fees is as minimal as 400 rs per semester exclusive of exam fees including which it comes around as near as 1000 rs per semester. Note that this is inclusive of practical fees, and all other kind of charges.
Campus Life :
There is an annual fest named "ALAAP" which is usually held in February of each year. This is organised by the student comittee and has several competition under it. There are two libraries one for art other for science. There are smart classes also depending on your requirement.
Admission :
For admission into B.Sc. Economics there is no entrance exam. The admission is pirely based on the marks in 10+2. Also there is specific reservation across categories which are given in the university and the college's websites.
Faculty :
In my class the student to teacher ratio was 39:1 also there were memtors were allotted to each student for their personal help. However I'm not sure how they wanted to help but there was only a monthly meeting held with my mentor which was mostly like a friendly hangout. The teachers at Bethune College were very helpful and always ready to be present for their students at any time of the day.
