Likes

The atmosphere in the college, the support from our professors and the friendly relation between teacher and students are the most important things that I like.
I witnessed lots of lovely memories during the cultural programme happened in our college.

Dislikes

The political atmosphere in our college sometimes create problems for the students.
The machines used in practical classes is sometimes gives wrong answer.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose my course as I loved physics and mathematics from my childhood days and I wanted to do some research related to physics in the later part of my life. The several curriculum in our college prepared ourselves for the real world applications. The frequency of exams was half yearly basis. But several internal exams were happened in between those half yearly exams to prepared us for the difficult problems.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 5000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The cost of our education was no so high in those days. The fees per year was almost five thousand including tution fees, college fees, library fees, sports fees etc. There was a scholarship for us in our college for good students and financially backward students.

Campus Life :

There were several cultural programme, annual programme and sports programme happened throughout the year. Technological facility was also available in some cases. The college library was very big and full of subjective books, comics, story books and journals. A big sports room was there with so many indoor games facility.

Admission :

The application process was totally online. But the admission process was offline basis. The cut-off was set depends on the marks you get in the higher secondary exam with English and second language compulsory. The overall admission process was satisfactory. Reservation was there.

Faculty :

All the faculty members are highly educated and they have completed their degree from India's top rated University. Faculty to student ratio was also good and it impacts our learning experience well. The teaching approach of the faculty members are so good that we had no problem to understand any topic. The relation between the teacher and student are so good that we can call anytime our teachers.

Advantages of joining Adamas University

Placement Experience:

The placements provided by adamas university are really good, it basically depends on the student and his own knowledge and skills, but still the placements of adamas are really good. For biochemistry, placements are good only after masters. After Bsc there are jobs but they won't pay that much which you can get after completing Msc. And there are very few jobs of biochemistry in India. But you'll have a great scope in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course curriculum & faculty members are quite good, 1st of all I have preferred Bsc Biotech because of my extreme interest in genetic engineering & upcoming situations of Covid 19. Also, this subject has a possibility for a Blooming future in the upcoming days of the Pandemic/epidemic. The Faculty in This college is quite good & The laboratory benefits & materials are also Supportive & workable, This college provides one of the oldest Biotech labs in West Bengal. The student ratio is also balanced. Saying about Qualification of the faculty, The Professors have atleast 6-10 yrs of teaching exp and research performs in their career, they are all friendly & supportive and helps us to explore more in this subject The term exams are Moderate & have standard questions.

Remarks:

This college still today stands to be among the first choice of every student in the hooghly district and 2nd in the Burdwan University. The only negative part is that this college has a very high political presence in the campus. Though the present government said that they oppose such strong political holds in colleges but still this words has not been kept.
