The campus of amity is huge. The faculty is also very good.
Placement of amity is good. Amity conducts different fests which grows the student from all aspects.

They are very strict with timings. If you are 2 mins late or even a minute, you won't be granted attendance.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Amity Business School and Amity institute of biotechnology has been ranked no. 1 among the private colleges in the country. Amity university is affiliated with many India's major certifications and is reliable and job oriented. Some teachers are very good and qualified but some are just below average. The exams are moderate in level not very easy to be honest and attendance is very necessary orelse you will not be allowed to write your exam.

Class Size : 200Course Fees : INR 120000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tution fee at Amity is high no doubt. The cost of my complete education is 10,08,000 for hostel and fees only for bachelors excluding food. If you have scored above 70% in 12th you will get 25% scholarship only for first year. I haven't recieved it yet

Campus Life :

Sangathan: Sports event[ sep-oct] Amiphoria : Cultural event[feb-march] You have to make your library card then you get the access to the books. Their is smart board in classrooms. Their are many games like basketball, badminton,etc and their is also swimming pool for hostellers. They learn a lot from these clubs and learn new things.

Hostel Facilities :

Facilities; AC, Geyser, cupboard,table, chair and a bed The food is not good Its pretty simple while admission in campus there is a option you need hostel or not New town kolkata, there are a lot of pg nearby

Hostel Fee : INR 130000 per year

Admission :

You just have to score above 50% in the 12th board. You can call Amity from the website provided and they will provide you with a application form, that will cost you RS1500 you can fill the form as per your convinience as which time you are comfortable. Then you will receive offer letter in a few days and you will get 6-7 days timing to pay the fees. Exams are of moderate level. They should provide you with a month time for the payment and also inform you about offer letter when it is provided.

Faculty :

The faculty-to-student ratio is pretty much good. Its 1 teacher among 17 students. The faculty at amity is highly qualified and their concern is to provide students the best they could give. Everyday excluding weekends. Our teacher comes to our desk to see things and explain us. So during every class we interact with teachers.

Admission:

National Institute of Biomedical Genomics ( NIBMG) is a national level research institute for genomic medicine.It is located at Kalyani West Bengal. It has been established as an autonomous institution under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. In order to be a part of this institution, the has to be a postgraduate and must apply for the research program. The selected students will be called.

Placement Experience:

The institute has collaborations with various clinics like Dept. of Gynecology-Cancer Centre Welfare Home and Research Institute, to provide expert clinical advice and training to the students. The students admitted to the program shall receive a fellowship of Rs. 16000 per month for the first 2 years of the program. After completion of the course work, students shall undergo comprehensive evaluation by a Review Committee. On being recommended for continuation in the PhD program, the student shall be awarded the NIBMG Ph.D. fellowship JRF/SRF , for up to 5 years.

Its worth it.

Remarks:

Life in IIT Kharagpur is beyond documentation and has its own charm. Kharagpur in itself does not have many amenities in terms of recreation and we have embraced it with love and warmth. The green campus with orange streetlights in night provides a vintage 1960s movie look and is beautiful. Overall, I would say despite every stressful situation, life at IIT Kharagpur campus is worth it.
