Amazing infrastructure of the college. Different blocks for each department, auditorium, labs, workshops, canteen, library, etc
Arts, sports, webinars, expos and other activities that they conduct every year

Girls hostel was 45 min away from college, the travel is a biy hectic
College is located far away from city where public transport availability is less

Course Curriculum Overview :

The Biomedical Engineering is more of biology. It's a perfect blend of science and technology. Any student with interest in biology would definitely enjoy the course. The course opens door to vast career opportunities in hospitals, manufacturing companies and even IT companies

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The college allows us to attend internship after the completion of first year. We can go to either hospitals or to companies the intership. Stipend may not provided but sstill the knowledge and experience we gain from the internship is worth the time we spent

Placement Experience :

College provides placement for its students. Every year Indian and International companies visit the college to interview and appoint students for different positions. The college provides stage for all students to perform their best

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure is like that anyone can afford the fee. College provides campus selection for every students. Every year different companies like TATA ELXSI, Capegemini, etc visit the college to interview and appoint students

Campus Life :

Totally TKMIT is a wonderful campus. NSS team volunteers so many activities and programs in the college IEEE provides the students platform to showcase their ideas, they also arrange webinars and meetings for students from all over Kerala

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility for boys is provided nearby college itself. For girls the hostel is arranged a bit far from college, its a 45 min travel from college, located nera TKM college of Engineering, Karickode Hostel mess provides food for all the students

Hostel Fee : INR 30000 per year

Admission :

The admission is truly based on entrance exam marks. They provide both government nad management seats for students. So students with good marks in entrance exam can get seat easily and at a lower fee. Management seats are also available for students

Faculty :

Faculty members are really amazing, highly educated professional staffs. Rather than teachers they are morr like friends. Labs are provided with faculties who support students in each and every experiments.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
