Dislikes

  • Since its located on top of a hill reaching there is quite a hassle. Most people take Autorikshaw to go to college but its not feasible as daily transport.
  • It take quite sometime to reach city from college. Eventhough it's distance not that much walking feels exhausting.

Course Curriculum Overview :

They have followed Nep which implement latest curriculum and subjects have latest knowledge. It have mix of theoretical and practical knowledge that help in real world scenarios. It may need to exclude things that no longer needee or used. Timing of exam leaves us with enough time to prepare but extending it would be good too.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee is quite low compared to private colleges and it gets less and less with new semester. There are a lot of scholarship benifits and fees for girls is also very less. There is also fine for late fees. There are many government schemes and benefits. Campus placement is not that good and it is limited.

Campus Life :

There are two types of fest in our college Sports fest known as Chakraviyu and cultural fest known as Twask. Twask is mostly of 2 to 3 days where different events are held. There is also HPTU youth frstival which involves Various activities. There are DJ nights on various festivals. And there are also various clubs for various activities that overlook these festivities. In short social life is good in our college.

Admission :

Eligibility criteria is to qualify HPCET but admission can be taken on the basis of JEE Mains. Fifty percent of seats are for HPCET and fifty percent are for JEE Mains. Application form can be filled online from official website. Difficulty is little less than JEE Mains. Reservation is also there. Most of admission process is offline in Hamirpur(H.P) it can be improved by making most of process online.

Faculty :

Faculty is quite qualified there are lot of good teachers that have good qualifications. Faculty to student ratio is also good since there are 2 teacher per 100 student which is great. Most of teachers have a PhD degree in there respective fields. Interaction with faculty is also good and productive.
