  • There is poor drinking water facility in the college specially in summer this is a big problem
  • Transportation form the metro to the campus is very costly no govt transportion facility is available there

Course Curriculum Overview :

The students are advised in the law faculty to study in a case based study which improve the skill of students in advocacy and also it will help the students who are going to prepare for judicial exams . So study meterial of du law faculty is very good and a law student can relate every task of life with law and any problem which a person faces mostly there is some law to solve the problem.the exams are conducted a little bit early this time because of the COVID 19 .The level of exams is moderate but the marking and checking of answersheets is very strict and very good.

Internships Opportunities :

There are various internship opportunity provided by the university one of them is vice-chancellor intership opportunity where students are placed to help the administration and law students are supposed to do intership out side the campus at private level and there interships are free or paid also where monthly stipend varies from.5 to 10 k per month.

Placement Experience :

Student of final year are eligible for the campus placement the placement in the law faculty is very less very few students get campus placement and the placement is done by the campus in various law firms and companies.the package of students is almost 3-5 lakh par year in the campus placement.i want to do practice as a lawyer after the completion of degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of law faculty of du is very low as compared to other law colleges in India and du also provide various scholarships for the meritorious students and scholarship for the low income group students there is a scholarship named as financial support scheme which provides fees reimbursement to the low income students and University also provide internship opportunity to the students where students can work with the study in college.

Campus Life :

There are various legal programs conducted in the campus various webinar and mootcourt compitions are conducted in the college, almost all types of books are available in the central library of the university and law related books can be assessed in college own library classroom are very specious and there is sports complex where various play grounds are available for the outdoor and indoor gaming activities.

Admission :

Fir the addmission there is a process of entrance examination which is conducted by the university itself known as DULLB entrance examination which is last year replaced by the CUET PG exam which is conducted all India bases. There is reservation also for the various categories, application process is open every year in March to April and exam conducted in April March and addmission processes Start after the declaration of results of CUET PG in June July. I would suggest that the exam must contain the more questions of law in the entrance exam because it is a law program and a student who has intrest in law should be admitted in college.

Faculty :

The members of the faculty are very good and we can say they are the best in their field but the College hires guest teachers who are also good. So I can say that the faculty and students ratio is ideal in the college. The faculty members are teaching according to the material provided by the university and any student can meet the faculty members in their respective chambers any time.

Other Applied Colleges

Maharshi Dayanand University - [MDU] | Bachelor of Laws [L.L.B.] {Hons.}

Placement Experience:

?? Highest package- Maybe 10 lpa not above that because afterall its a private law college lowest package- 2 or 3 lpa average package- 6 lpa ?? Only 20-30% students get placement, but the reason is not that most of the students fail to get placement. Actual reason is that most of the students don't take on campus placement they go for off campus placements or wait for some more good opportunities. ? Companies / law firms who visited the campus- 1) ALS SOLICITORS & ADVOCATES 2) STATE BANK OF INDIA (SBI) 3) NANDA & NANDA ADVOCATES 4) CAPEX LEGAL 5) ARENESS 6) AMERICAN EXPRESS 7) SINGHANIA AMD PARTNERS 8) Ernest and Young (EY) ?? There is a proper recruitment process followed by the placement committee. Firstly invitation is send to the recruiter, then pre-placement talks are conducted, thirdly A pre- interview screening process is followed and lastly the Final interview is conducted for submitting list of final candidates.

Course Curriculum Overview:

LL.B course often makes you know the aspects of the Indian Legal System. It makes you aware of the Legal Philosophy and Jurisprudence in India. It makes one an aware and responsible citizen. This has influenced me to choose this course. In DU Law Faculty CLC we are taught through the Case Study method which is a unique method adopted from the USA. Moreover, we have our exams usually in a 4-5 month gap after 4 months of semester classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

LLB has always been considered as a noble and professional degree and due to that there is a large number of students taking admission in it. The curriculum running in the faculty is much more focused on the judiciary and litigation side and it prepares you very well for the real life scenarios. The improvements that the faculty can make is to also introduce a curriculum which can help in getting opportunities in the corporate sector as well. The exams are conducted twice a year in semester mode and the difficulty level is moderate.
