Remarks

The college is good and comfortable but it's like old school not all get comfortable there. It has got the biggest library so that's the good thing.

Entrance Preview

The options are many but I wanted to join a government college and the best of the three governments college is in Mysore and it's a good place to leave also no traffic and moderate weather these things made me choose the government ayurvedic college .

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It's a little hectic as it's got much syllabus and they have tried to get it less hectic but accessing Avery thing it can be presumed that it works just fine. The exams are once a year so u can have fun too n study whenever u r not having fun. The course came tough on me but it's doable

Internships Opportunities

They college does give stipend after the course for one year for the internship period . The amount being 15k n above

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are not much as it's medical field but some pharma companies come for the recruitment as the drug manager or some for their hospitals giving a minimum wage of 20k and above , well it depends on the company too. There is government selection some times n u can get a govt job too.

College Events

2.5

There are many functions which happen every year . Some being sports day cultural events wherein ethnic day , fancy day western day n all are celebrated .this usually has competition also like dancing singing etc. Sports day is also celebrated for 3 days everyyear

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is very feasible as it is a government college . The fees for some are completely free n for some only 500 is fees and for the general merit students it is 5k. The final year being 1n half years course the fees for general merit students is 8k n for others free or 800

Fees and Financial Aid

No it's a government college so loan facility but scholarships are provided by the government which can be taken.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is a little boring as it doesn't have a canteen facility but outside there are many hotels . There are many girls in the college than boys 5:1 sometimes. There are always some or the other competition goin on in the college but sports is conducted only once a year

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel is good and newly built 1st floor . The hostel has all the accomodation like table chair for and a wardrobe . The person has to bring his own bed that's all. The mess is selected by the students and given contract . The food is ok can be eaten and very cheap too.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is not strongly maintained by the college but senior students do come and visit the old college the learnt in . Some of them join the college for pg or as teachers

Exam Structure

The exams are once a year for the first three years and the final year it is for one and half years as the course being for 4n half years . The exams are repeated every 6 months if failed u can complete it in time . U get 4 attempts for every subject .

Admission

After the cet results I opted for government ayurvedic medical college Mysore. The merit list shows your name in the list of colleges .Then just had to come to the college submit the required documents like the list given by the cet people and the usual marks card n all.

Faculty

3

The faculty of our college is good they r having atleast 2-3 lecturer for one subject . And teaching is also good. They don't fully finish the syllabus but they don't have the time to do that in between the clinics practicals and all. but they try their best.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ayurveda is holistic science in total to study about. Ayurveda helps us a lot when it comes to the application and clinical practice point of view. Ayurveda aims at mainly "Swasthasya swasthir rakshanam, athurasya vikar prashamanam" our entire curriculum is based on the aim of ayurveda which states protecting the health of a healthy person and also reversing the pathology of the diseased individual. Ayurveda mainly aims at the Doshas(vatta, pitta and Kapha) to treat the pathology and also to maintain the health of the healthy person. Ayurveda language is sanskrit so 1st year Sanskrit should be learnt properly. The term vise examination and periodic assessment are helping us to revise and learn the concept better.
