- The mess food could use some improvement and hygiene
Course Curriculum Overview
The relevance of a course which is "professional" can only be measured by how we put it into practice. The curriculum is well rounded and in a way indcludes practical and theoretical aspects of the subject well. There are periodical tests and assessments kept atleast monthly once if not more often, grading is done on the basis of how well the subject has been practically understood.
Fees and Financial Aid
The seats here are alloted by kea which is the governing board. There are 3 catergories in which we can get a seat here 1.60k p.a - government seat 2.2 lakhs p.a private seat 3.6 lakhs p.a NRI seat These seats are alloted on basis of NEET, which is compulsory for admission into this course. Category subsidies are also provided mainly for sc/st students
Campus Life
The college provides scope for sports and cultural activities equally. As of now there aren't any clubs or groups but extracurricular activities do happen, not often due to the burden of the curriculum but that doesn't mean it does not occur entirely either
Hostel Facilities
The hostel here is on campus and the campus itself quite widespread the hostel is well maintained to a good extent. Single and shared accommodations are provided, which are both pretty neat. Registration for the same is done on the same day as the admission to the college.
Admission
The admission process is the same for any ayurvedic college in Karnataka, all of which is mandated by KEA. Therefore it is no exception for this college either, sdm happens to be one of the best colleges in the state and getting into this college needs a higher grade/mark in your NEET compared to other private institutions.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is pretty good. The teaching is also quite standardise, in total of 14 departments all having top notch staff. The professors are quite experienced and have really good knowledge about the subject
