Specific aspects which influenced me to join this course is studying and practicing both ayurveda and modren. And basically we will study about all the medicinal plants to the chemical drugs. And also the faculty prepares us well to face all the questions thrown by board during the annual examinations. And also they take us to practical experiences like going on health care camps in villages. And exams run upto 1/2 months and viva. And difficulty level is high 75% to 100%-distinction 62-74%-frist class 50-61%- 2nd class

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Well the internship will be in the government hospitals! May be in different cities or different states! Im still in my second year and also there is no output batch from pur college i dont know much about the internship placements

Fees and Financial Aid

Im an BAMS student now which was my dream to be and i did had a little idea that i can study both modern and ayurveda in this filed!! And by my luck i got admitted in the best college in town now. Sushrutha ayurvedic collage of davangere is newly opened like im from second batch.and we have 1 junior batch to us now..the staff is well versed.but the only thing is we don't have a good canteen in the campus and the collage is out of city. Talking about the fee structure when i joined in 2022 it was like 60k for govt seats 250000 for private seats and 350500 for management seats.and 50k development fees for all students And last year the fee structure has been changed again! There is hike in fee Well talking about the cutoff it was around 375 marks in neet for OBC&minority And 390-for general Passing marks in neet for OBC@&SC/ST was 107 For genral 135

Campus Life

4.5

Well our college add spice to our academics by celebrating all the national festivals and also by celebrating our success in exams! And also annual functions Apron ceremony Freshers events Sports events And all the festives! Journals available in college are all the booms useful to BAMS. We have projectors in particular classrooms . We all are introduced to all the new technologies and involvement in sports.

Admission

I choosed this college on an experience of my cousin who is my senior! I got a good review back from her about the college which lead me to apply to this college. She mainly highlighted about the teaching faculty and yes that's true! Our college is unique from other colleges in the faculty members and efforts from faculty towards the students where in other colleges they don't pay attention to students In our college all the staff and principal care and also strict with the attendance and all the activities. Talking about my admission i was previously selected to ASHWINI AYURVEDIC MEDICAL COLLEGE OF DAVANGERE but i the review grom thier own students like about the teaching staff and environment lead me to deny that college and choose my current college over that. And my admission process was through counselling i got my seat through government counselling.which is private seat like from out batch even the management seats are alloted by government itself! And i got it through my NEET

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ayurveda is holistic science in total to study about. Ayurveda helps us a lot when it comes to the application and clinical practice point of view. Ayurveda aims at mainly "Swasthasya swasthir rakshanam, athurasya vikar prashamanam" our entire curriculum is based on the aim of ayurveda which states protecting the health of a healthy person and also reversing the pathology of the diseased individual. Ayurveda mainly aims at the Doshas(vatta, pitta and Kapha) to treat the pathology and also to maintain the health of the healthy person. Ayurveda language is sanskrit so 1st year Sanskrit should be learnt properly. The term vise examination and periodic assessment are helping us to revise and learn the concept better.
