Sports Facility is very good. IIT Ropar provides coaches for all physical sports. A variety of student run clubs and societies provide opportunities
Lab facilities are also very good. The campus is continually expanding and offers modern amenties

IIT Ropar campus is in remote area and away from the city.
Academic level like other IITS is of good level so you have to give time for passing the exams.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is proper in IIT Ropar. The semester goes fully according to the released timetable. And each semester is around 4.5 months. Midsems ends in around 1 week And Endsem ends in around 8 to 10 days depending to the exam timetable.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 858200 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For Family income >5 lac, Academic fees is around 8,58,200 for the course. For Family income between 1 to 5 lac, Academic fees is around 324872. For family income less than 1 lac or SC/ST Category, Academic fees is around 58200. Scholarships are also available in IIT Ropar for family income less 4.5lacs in which students are exempted for tution fees but student have to maintian CGPA >6

Campus Life :

At, IIT Ropar, a Cultural event takes place every year. Zeitgeist is also held every year which is a fest in IIT Ropar in which popular artists like Diljit Dosanjh, Krishna etc have performed. The library at IIT Ropar is very good and all kinds of books are available.

Hostel Facilities :

In first and second Year of btech , double sharing rooms are provided. In third year, single accomodations roooms are provided. Hostel fees is around 3000 per semester. Mess menu is standard which are provided on every college mess.

Hostel Fee : INR 6000 per year

Admission :

You have to clear first Jee mains and Then Jee Advanced.Your rank also be good ie less than 15k for admission in IIT Ropar. You can take admission in IIT Ropar through Josaa counselling. Reservation is also there as per the center. Difficulty of exams is moderate to hard level depending on the professors.

Faculty :

I can tell about my branch ie civil. There are 14 professors and in our batch ,there is strength of 30 people. Approach of faculty is different, unique and versatile offering great skills for students to learn. Professors are also very friendly.

LPU : College with good campus and facilities.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Many big companies such as Google, Amazon, Flipkart, and Adobe visit our college. The highest package is 3 crores and the average is 6-7 LPA. Mainly students get placed. After my degree, I will take placement.

The overall experience from the student who studied there

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good. Irrespective of the level of hardness the college provided the timing is only for 3 hours per exam no matter what difficulty level is. Sometimes, the college conducts online exams which happen for 3 hours in the form of mcqs and the test includes all the subjects at once which makes the students stressed out.

Placement Experience:

College provide campus placement with a avg package of 22lakh. Many companies visit our college like Google , de shaw , Microsoft , bpcl , maruti, sprikler and many more. Google give a package of 45 lpa and bpcl provide 19.5lpa etc

Placement is average of college they mostly provide average package four lakh. Very less company come to college of core. Firstly I will try to get the placement outside with the help of motorsport event.

Inside info of every college.

Placement Experience:

From passing 2nd year onwards students are eligible for the placements classes which costs around 10-12k till 4th year. I'm from mechanical field so the highest package is around 18 lakhs and average package goes to 4-6 lakhs.
