Entrance Preview :
I did opt for this college because of its placement rate is increasing year to year. The branch in college is also great and faculties are admiring. Besides education, the infrastructure also attracts me for opting this college. As my branch is ICE, so this is a unique branch which has great scope and this is in nit Jalandhar so this is also the reason for opting this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There are following different courses - 1- Btech (4 yrs) 2- mtech (2yrs) 3- MSC (2yrs) 4- PhD 5- Mba (2yrs) There are different departments for these. This college is also good for students who want to do something in the research area. Also, there are 9 branches in the BTech course.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, the college also provides internship of own but I advice do you intern own or take by companies those come for internships in our college because they give you stipend and then great chance for bpo also. College provided internships are just internships in which we have to pay fess for them.
Placement Experience :
As for placement above average, But for three branches (ICE, CSE, ECE) there is 100% placement. Highest package(2017-2018)- Adobe India - Rs 39.3 LPA CTC amazon India - Rs 27 LPA CTC smart pix - Rs 19 LPA CTC Samsung R&D- Rs 16 LPA CTC Jp morgan chase & co. - Rs 12 LPA CTC
College Events :
There are mainly two events celebrated 1- utkansh ( cultural fest of 3 days) 2- technician (technical fest of 3 days) There are other events are also organized - Athletic fest(2 days), Bharat dhwani (foundation day of college), some festival are also celebrated.

Campus Life :
Campus life- as I already written infrastructure is good(awesome). Gender ratio - 4:1(boys: girls), there is two gym are there for, also in hostel 7E, there is a special gym. There is one football or cricket ground, one basketball ground, two volleyball ground, for badminton or table tennis there is a special building called gymnasium and also there this lawn tennis ground! Completions such like robot war, debates are organized from time to time. And seriously when you will see this event you will really appreciate!
Hostel Facilities :
As we talk about hostel facilities - There are 7 boys hostel and three girls hostel. Hostel facilities are good as except hostel 1 (boys) are provided by internet facilities(wifi or LAN), mess facilities are also good but home food is food as we all know, but hostel 1,7 and 4 have best mess food in our college.
Alumni/Alumna :
There is always in one-year alumni meet is organized in which all they are come and enjoy that day. A network of senior students is awesome because there is no ragging that's why the relationship between senior and juniors is awesome.
Exam Structure :
Here exams are comprising of two-part 1- practical Practicals exam are taken 2 times a semester as internal and external. 2- theory Theoretical exam is taken by three times as minor1, minor 2, end sem in one semester. Minor 1 and minor 2 of 20 marks each subject and end sem exams are of 50 marks each subject.
Admission :
I got admission in this college by qualifying entrance exam (jee mains), I got enough marks for entering in nit colleges. So after the result of this exam, we have to fill our college choices as online counseling is done by Joshua, in which we have to fill our college choice in which we will get college with respect to marks and priorities of college as written by us.
Faculty :
As now going to faculties. As for the first year not all teachers are experienced, some are taught by Ph.D. or mtech scholar also.. But from second and third year all things will be changed, and professor and HOD also teach 2nd year. As there many branches but ICE, ECE, CSE is on top level.. There faculties are also great. Faculties of mechanical departments are also good.
