  • Teaching method of the faculty is outdated and most students were unable to understand the concept taught by teachers

Course Curriculum Overview :

Economics honours is one of the most reputed course in Delhi University and one of the hardest among all the courses. Not only in Delhi University Economics major is one of the highly competitive and worthful course in whole around the world these course helps you to understand about markets modern world economic understanding of money banking system and the nature of countries economy. In Delhi University Economics major is the only course which offers the highest placement which is about 49 lakh and most of the students who use to study economics honours get placed in high reputed companies and get average placement of about 8 lakh. This course tells you the concept of financial consultancy data analysis and statistics. economist, financial analyst , data analyst, market researcher, policy analyst, consultant these are the job offer bike companies to economics major students and they can also opted for CAT examination and can do MBA after that.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Generally we can see that tution fee of Delhi University is generally low and can we managed by household with middle income because it generally lies from 10000 to 25000 per year which is generally good enough for every household according to me most of the students used to complain about the fee Hike but I don't think so this is a trivial matter.

Campus Life :

Campus life of the Delhi University student is generally considered to be a great because we can enjoy our studies. We can get to know more about social life way of living and importance of getting into the world and its benefit. While joining the societies and different clubs we can improve our period skills like while joining the drama club we can perform Nukkad Natak various theatres and perform in acting in various professional fields same goes for fashion music and internships and placement cells. Every year around month of March Delhi University conduct over all fest in every colleges where they bring the celebrities and singers for entertainment of students.

Admission :

For economics honours student have to of for math in their class 11 and 12 studies this is the eligibility criteria for opting economics honours for graduation. Every year and NTA used to release the examination form criteria and various information regarding cuet, just like neet and jee student can fill the form of CuET and can select University according to the preference and eligibility. There is huge reservation benefit for SC and ST students and their little much more benefit for OBC student compared to general. General students which are a potential candidate for these colleges were unable to get their seat because of reservation which is the major concern. University used to connect the examination between every 4 month and the difficulty level is generally considered to be difficult for economics honours course.

Faculty :

The concept taught by teachers are mostly theoretical for courses like political science history so students are anywhere to connect themselves completely. Most of the time faculty used to cancel their class due to unknown reasons.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course was good for me as I'm preparing for the upsc civil service examination so political science helped me a lot in my optional subject. Through my curriculum I got to know many theories and approaches that we can see in our daily lives and as I just said I want to go into bureaucracy so it is helpful for me. There is no improvement needed as such because my professors were actually so good. We used to have monthly tests for our internal and semester examinations which were on average neither easy nor difficult.

Placement Experience:

From last semester students become eligible for campus placements. There is below average placement in this college. Students almost opt for higher studies. But still there are many companies which visits but they offered on an average 3 lakh per annum package. Only 20% students got placement and rest of them opted for higher studies. My plan was clear at that time to go for research in economics

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been a lover of English as long as I can imagine. Being in Miranda only brings me closer to my beloved, as each one of my professors only seem to strengthen my affection of the language and for the literature it offers. It teaches you in abundance about how the world used to work and how it works today. One who studies english shall never ever fail to navigate their way through life. Considering the examination, if you have it in you to look at things beyond their exterior, you'll ace this subject. Though, I must state that being a subject course, it takes a little more than "one to two days before exam studies" to score a CGPA higher than 8.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we can see , teaching method depends on old teaching that is reading and writing, professor comes and read the paragraph of the book and meanwhile students are noted it down...while some teachers prefers to practical learning other than this. The course that is selected by the students having career itself but we have to take notice that it's matter of opportunity gives to them.

Third-year students are eligible for campus placement opportunities. Some of the companies that came to our college are PlanetSpark, RSVI, IDFC First Bank, FNP, Zoconut, etc. The highest package offered for our course is around 10LPA and the average package is 4-5LPA for positions like a translator, editor, content manager/creator, etc. However, the placement percentage of our college/course isn't that high. The average percentage of placement in our college is approx. 40%. My plan after completing the degree is to have a job alongside my Masters.
