Nature friendly environment , Only cycling allowed for students (except phd students)
Lots of activities and functions are held by different branches

Dislikes

Mess food is below the average so be prepared for it just in case you miss your home food

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had viewed the environment of the college before coming and watched YouTube videos which gave me a good view of all the possibilities and things I'd be able to do there. Surely the teachers prepare you well in regard to the curriculum. Areas of improvement are mostly in the case of mess and hostel area development. Exams could be a bit better managed considering the issues faced by students even in Re-exams.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placements of any NIT is same however applied mechanics department head a 100% placement record this year the highest package of vnit student this year was 36.67 lakh per annum of a student in CSE branch various civil engineering companies like L&T, TCS.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition fee is not very much high as compared to other NITs. The cost of education is balanced with respect to the other charges. Scholarships are provided for B.tech students according to their caste category. There are various clubs that you can join and monthly stipend is awarded for MTech students for being punctual and not missing classes.

Campus Life :

Every year various annual and technical festivals like vihang, advaityam, Euphoria are held . Our library is one of the largest libraries in present NITs also with access to digital library. Classrooms equipped with projectors and white board. There is a large sports complex with playground for football, badminton, table tennis, tennis hand ball, Kabaddi, kho kho and cricket.

Admission :

Admission process depends upon the eligibility criteria given on the college website. Application form application fees and application dates are also given there. For the reservation benefits you can apply it through online portal while selecting your caste and category details. The exams are held every 4 months with in semester exam that is unit test and and semester exam the difficulty level is higher in case of and some exams a better hotel like service can be provided in NITs for easy admission process

Faculty :

Faculty and project guides are a well balanced ratio so every student is paid attention to. Some of the students might find it overwhelming if haven't studied well in their bachelor's. Teacher interaction is not too much considering regular colleges.

Placement Experience:

After the 1st year in 3rd semester you are eligible for placement. In 3nd semester you are eligible for internship also. Almost 98% student are placed this year with package 7.5 lac per annum. Heights package was 14 lpa and lowest was 6 lpa. All are placed in core company.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible for the campus placement..Indian institute of technology Bombay is one of the most renowned institute in India. Admission:

Admission happens through the gate exam merit list. the gate is an exam conducted by old IITs each year. where around 8 lac students appear for the exam out of which only 16% could clear the exam. in that most, top ranks get admission in IIT through the gate. top 1% of all people who give exams mostly get admitted in the IIT Bombay.
