Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum offered at DU is truly outstanding, as it provides extensive exposure to students across a wide range of academic disciplines. The inclusion of skill enhancement and elective papers allows students to delve deeper into subject areas outside of their core courses and acquire new and diverse skills. Furthermore, the opportunity to participate in semester exams twice a year allows students to demonstrate their understanding and knowledge of the material covered.

Internships Opportunities :

Inglu, agile capital services, aap, egopatshala, skills arena, aashman foundation, humming minds, uptop carrer, neurosensum, hireyy, suvidha foundation, du express, glinks. These type of companies come to our college for internship. Generally all are unpaid, even if any internship is paid they don't pay more than 15-20k

Placement Experience :

Student are eligible to sit for the placement from 6th semester. Although there are companies that need immediate joiners for that even 5th semester students can apply and can give interview. This year the placement drive had good response. Around 50 companies took part in the drive for placement and internship. The highest CTC offered was around 6lakh and highest stipend was around 25k.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Satyawati College in Delhi University is known for its commitment to providing affordable education. Its tuition fees are among the lowest in the university, and the college ensures that there are no frequent increases in fees. Apart from tuition, students are only required to pay examination fees, and no other additional payments are expected from them.

Campus Life :

Library has all the books available that can be used in curriculum other than that there are less books. Classroom aren't equipped with any technologies. Old blackboard system with a chalk are used in college. Recently there had been initiative to promote sports in the college. A khokho court has been made. Old badminton and volleyball court are in poor condition and need immediate renovation.

Admission :

The admission process was smooth. Ba hons economics has eligibility criteria that students must have opted for economics and maths as a subject in class 12. Applications were opened for every DU college at once and through one application one can apply for every college in DU. Application fees were too minimal. The only lag was in the refund of extra fees paid at the time of admission. Notice regarding that didn't circulate and many students didn't get their refund

Faculty :

The faculty-to-teacher ratio differs depending on the course. The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) program has a large number of students, which leads to a lower faculty-to-teacher ratio. Despite this, the faculty members in the BCom program are highly qualified and actively support research initiatives.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course was good for me as I'm preparing for the upsc civil service examination so political science helped me a lot in my optional subject. Through my curriculum I got to know many theories and approaches that we can see in our daily lives and as I just said I want to go into bureaucracy so it is helpful for me. There is no improvement needed as such because my professors were actually so good. We used to have monthly tests for our internal and semester examinations which were on average neither easy nor difficult.

Placement Experience:

From last semester students become eligible for campus placements. There is below average placement in this college. Students almost opt for higher studies. But still there are many companies which visits but they offered on an average 3 lakh per annum package. Only 20% students got placement and rest of them opted for higher studies. My plan was clear at that time to go for research in economics

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been a lover of English as long as I can imagine. Being in Miranda only brings me closer to my beloved, as each one of my professors only seem to strengthen my affection of the language and for the literature it offers. It teaches you in abundance about how the world used to work and how it works today. One who studies english shall never ever fail to navigate their way through life. Considering the examination, if you have it in you to look at things beyond their exterior, you'll ace this subject. Though, I must state that being a subject course, it takes a little more than "one to two days before exam studies" to score a CGPA higher than 8.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we can see , teaching method depends on old teaching that is reading and writing, professor comes and read the paragraph of the book and meanwhile students are noted it down...while some teachers prefers to practical learning other than this. The course that is selected by the students having career itself but we have to take notice that it's matter of opportunity gives to them.

See In our Admissions process We get to See many changes in the Admissions process and then the Education process like implement of New Education Policy 2020 which makes us deal with so many subject which are 7 in number and but talking about my college the teaching methods of the faculty members mainly based on the orally explaining the things or teaching through visuals like PPT which some How help us to understand the in a good and proper way. Talking about Curriculum through NEP2020 it give exposure to learn the different different subject according to our wishes and it also help ua that we are not only engage with one subject we are learning many thing from one places so I am happy with Curriculum and faculty members of my college.

Third-year students are eligible for campus placement opportunities. Some of the companies that came to our college are PlanetSpark, RSVI, IDFC First Bank, FNP, Zoconut, etc. The highest package offered for our course is around 10LPA and the average package is 4-5LPA for positions like a translator, editor, content manager/creator, etc. However, the placement percentage of our college/course isn't that high. The average percentage of placement in our college is approx. 40%. My plan after completing the degree is to have a job alongside my Masters.
